New to Nest products and this device works great, better than the house smoke detectors. Love that it lights up when your walking in the dark past it. Would highly recommend!!

I love the fact that this smoke alarm also has the Carbon Monoxide monitoring built in. I think it is definitely worth the price if you need that feature. I also like the night light feature.

I recently purchased the Nest Protect dual carbon monoxide and smoke alarm detector to install in my home and it works seamlessly. I have it connected to my Nest thermostat and WiFi.

Extremely easy to install and set up. The App is very fluid and easy to use as well. Product works great and feel safe knowing that if we had an issue this device would alert me in many different ways!

Very easy to install. Has a motion detection night light. Can be put anywhere.there might be a threatthreat.

Installation was easy but I had little trouble to connect to network. I believe that is because our wifi extender. I made it connected but it often gets offline. It could be big problem for thurmostat but for smoke detector, I don't care much and gave up trouble shooting. It looks good on my ceiling and works as night light, and either on or offline, it seems working as smoke detector.

Overall, I'm a huge fan of the Nest Protect. Installation was a snap (installing 5 took about an hour total), configuration was easy, and you're up and running within minutes. Only downside (besides initial cost) so far, the notifications to your phone aren't true push - meaning that the app can get notifications, but they don't come all the way through like I'd want.

Assuming it is actually doing what it says it is, this is a really nice implementation of a smart product. It talks to you to help you set it up. I like everything about it.

This is a great product, makes your life easy especially when it is installed just outside bathroom and you take hot shower - you can instantly silence it.

I have several dogs and wanted something that would let me know if there was trouble in the house. This was a very easy install, and has worked great for over a month now. Great purchase.

This was a replacement for an out of date Nest Protect. Amazing how fast 10 years goes. I like being able to get a notice if something should be wrong at home while I am away. We are out in a rural area where it would be a while for someone to notice the house on fire. Also the fact that it will also turn the HVAC system off in the event of a fire or carbon monoxide detection. The mount is different than the first generation but no problem replacing it.

I did very little to get my Nest Protectors up and running. It was super easy to install and super easy to setup. Testing went well and my confidence in this product is pretty high.

These are really great if your looking to replace existing alarms. The setup up is a breeze. These give you peace of mind knowing the status of your alarms at all times.

I love these things.. No more scary sounds and freaking out the dogs and cats.. SO easy to set up. GREAT app and worth even more than what they cost..

Nest really did something great here. Nice to have something that will alert me while I’m gone if there is a issue. Also the night light it provides is great. Definitely buying more!

I needed 2 more Protect's to complete the swap I had started in April. These are simple to install and register with the app, and give me greater peace of mind.
