Simple to connect to my nest hub. Gives peace of mind. Like that it does continuous updates and checks on itself.

Great alarm, with an easy setup and installation process.

So I have an array of smoke detectors permanently wired in my house. The 8 alarms would go off at least once a month and when one would go, they all went off. Piercing sound and usually at midnight. The Nest Protect monitors a ton of variables and doesn't go off when it shouldn't. Honestly, its expensive, so I only use about 4 of the 8 slots of permanent installs. However, the protect is more sensitive and covers monoxide. Spendy, but I like them and its worth it for me...

It easy very easy to install and very efficient. This is our second one in our home and I highly recommend this product.

This is great and exactly what we were looking for

This product was easy to add to my nest network. It does require a 110v connection. Luckily I already had one, but I'm not sure I would run an extra line to add it.

Bought 5 of these for the house and they were super easy to connect. The app interface is great too!

My house needs 6 of these, but I started with 1. It's easy to setup and well thought out. App to setup is also easy to deal with. So far no alarms 6 months in.

The only unit I would ever trust to work when required. Great product and easy to install without being a pro!

Bought 7 of these to replace my smoke detectors. It's so much easier to silence a nest protect with your phone than to climb on a chair with a broomstick

I got nest detector for a gift. I was so happy, I purchased several more. Easy to set up. Easy to install. Easy to manage.

So easy to install. Good looking. the most convenient is that there is a motion detector builds in,and at night it's easy to see what's in the room.

I purchased this to go with my other Nest products. This is so easy to setup! I love that i can check the history. I plan on buying more.

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for, a smart detector that can be controlled via the Nest app. Very simple to install and set up.

Love these, every area in my house has one. It’s a product I will not live without anymore.

I have a newer home with a total of seven wired smoke detectors. I have replaced five of them so I have a couple more to change out. I am very happy with the Nest Protect. Setup and installation took about 90 minutes for the first four. I’ll be installing the fifth this afternoon. I like the pathlight feature. However if you have cats like we do you might want to turn this feature off in the unit in you bedroom if you have a detector installer. I had the pathlight activated in our master bedroom and the first night the light kept coming on every time a cat walked under it.

Great product. Gives us a piece of mind when we are not at the house, easy to monitor and control.

No nuisance alarms or other surprises. The only thing not great is that you don't get much time between the notification of monthly test, and it sounding. Not enough time to stop it, which can be annoying if people are home and not expecting it or a kid taking a nap.

I love nest, i have been upgrading my house and adding nest products because of the quality and easy set up.
