I got the wired and these were really easy to install. Did 4 in under an hour. Monitors itself and I'll never wake up to beeping again

Nest has not let me down. We have the thermostat and love it so we decided to try the smoke alarm. It's features are cool, woks as a night light as well.

Works well and is very nice to have when walking around at night. It emmits a led halo ring that shines down to the floor to help see when walking around.

This product is a great nightlight and I fell comfortable know my home is protected my the smoke and carbon monoxide protector.

Since I have a older house I have the battery powered one. I really like the night light feature it’s really bright. Works well and really loud.

I've had the smoke detector installed for about a month now and so far so good. The app is pretty easy to use. It gives you updates weekly on my phone.

I have a dog at home and like that while I'm away I can know that the house is ok. I also love the night light it's perfect only on when there is motion.

The interconnection functionality of this device could be better. Competitive models interconnect with other non wireless non smart detectors using your yellow/orange wire. But this one only interconnects with other nest protect devices. It’s not even use designed to use the interconnect wire. Code in my state requires all alarms to sound at the same time. To stay in compliance, you would need to replace all of them. Could be expensive for some. Also it has a humidity sensor a temperature sensor and a motion sensor but does not send that info to the neat thermostat for the purpose of changing temperature based on occupancy readings. It only sends the info to the thermostat to shut the fan off Incase of an emergency. I bought this and the thermostat thinking it was the best and I’m second guessing my decision. The fact that it isn’t HomeKit compatible also lowers its attractiveness. These two big time companies should get over their big egos. They could be much more productive. Time for a new model to come out

Easy to install, works great. Good quality materials, I like the way the light go on when detect motion.

Took less than 5 minutes to setup. Easy to monitor using the Nest/Google Home app to monitor event.

Out of the box and up running within 15 minutes. Incorporated with two other best protects and two nest thermostats. Works seamless with the Nest app!

Easy install to add this to Nest. I like the path light feature. Good way to add carbon monoxide detection. Wired install was easy.

Great product. Very simple to install. Can’t beat the reliability and comfort in alerts.

Had to replace one recently due to a failed CO sensor. Great to have the notification that it has failed before I found out the hard way it wasn't working properly. Plus the peace of mind knowing my house/animals are safe remotely.

Old nest protect expired so upgraded to this newer gen. Works great. Easy to setup!

Noticed I had missed one smoke detector so ran out and grabbed this one. Took less than 10 min to install and connect to my other best detectors.

Now the house is fully networked with the nest products. Works great and the night light function is good also. You can adjust each one as needed.

The path light feature is great. Is easy to install and look nice. Hopefully never ever have to use it

The best smoke and carbon monoxide detector on the market IMO. I love the app integration and I appreciate the piece of mind it affords me when I'm not home.
