Connecting it to the Nest hub was a breeze, the instructions were flawless. I love the nightlight motion detector feature in it. I use it even more than my kids do. I also love the periodic tests it runs itself to make sure that it is still in working condition. I am slowly but surely making our home more smart home friendly and this was a great addition.

I love that they act as motion sensors for my thermostats. I love that I can get notifications of which smoke detector is going off. I love that they can notify you when the battery is getting low. I love that they have a “night light”. I love that they light up green when you turn the light off at night to tell you that all is good. I’m really happy with my purchase and would recommend them to anybody.

I have both and the after a few years my battery version gets drained a lot. This wired one seems to last longer. I like the night light and the ease of setting it up

We're sorry to hear that your experience was less than ideal when it comes to the brightness of the Pathlight feature of your device. You have the option to adjust the brightness of Pathlight for your Nest Protect. You can follow the steps here:
-Tap the Settings icon on the Nest app home screen.
-Scroll down and select the Nest Protect that you want to change settings for.
-If you want to change Pathlight brightness, select Brightness. Then choose Low, Medium, or High.
