Great addition to the smart home ecosystem

Works well, but I DID have an issue that required swapping out a few that had been triggered by a CO2 alert and would not come off of the 'alert' status. Fortunately, Nest swapped them out without a hassle.

I am a huge fan of NEST products - their customer service is the best - always there to assist with questions for this product or other product. In fact this was a replacement. Keep up the great production NEST!

Excellent product w added security

You can control when they test - no chirping at 2 am! The nightlight was a bonus. You can also turn it off if it bothers you. Enjoying the security and additional capacity to check on them through the app. Worth every penny.

All in 1 dector

My only complaint with them was setting it up on the ceiling with the mount provided, was a little challenging to get it twisted on, but got it working.

Intuitive upgrade from the 1st generation protect

I particularly like the test function from the app rather than pressing the button in the unit. The battery door is also accessible now without unscrewing the back off of the unit. Everything is also in a slimmer package. All in all a good progressive upgrade from the original.

Didn't know I needed this till I purchased

Not only does it pick up several types of fires, as well as carbon monoxide, but it also does the best job at alerting you of the danger.

Great Detector!!!

This is a Great 2 in one detector, fast easy hook up to home WiFi it adds piece of mind in that you can access when you are away from home. Letting you know everything is ok
