Can’t complain at all and exactly what I’ve been needing

Like all Nest products this one works great. It has a very human like voice to warn you of smoke in the room and assume will do the same for carbon. It checks itself monthly, one word of caution is that it works with your home wi-fi and if you loose your internet connection it will disconnect.

I just installed, make sure you are close to your WiFi before installing to get it connected. Great product.

Love the fact that you don't get the constant beeps from the smoke alarm. That's the whole reason I upgraded! The C2O sensor is also a nice to have.

This smoke detector does an amazing job of notifying you if there is smoke or carbon monoxide present. In addition, it also notifies you when the power goes out which is a nice feature if you are not home. I highly recommend this smoke detector especially for the automated features. I own 6 of them.

My smoke and carbon monoxide detectors where all expiring. While pricey the Nest Protect offers both types of smoke detectors and carbon monoxide in one product. Pay attention to the serial number as it includes the MFG date. They are only good for ten years from MFG date.

I bought this for my townhouse and am very happy with the devices. I did have some major issues setting up the connection via wifi and had to call Nest for help, a first. To date, 2 months, no issue with connections and am able to not only control the smoke alarm but also able to control my thermostats.

I added 8 of these to my Nest setup and love them! Very easy to install with the supplied wiring and mounting bracket. Take note that the bracket has several screw hole configurations so if you notice the screws don’t fit try rotating the bracket.

Can’t wait to get the basement remodel done and this installed. Wiring is easy, adding to my current Nest account even easier.

i love anything nest . google produces. sincs with your phone. already tested it with a small dinner goof. immediately detected smoke but just issued a verbal warning. was able to dissipate the smoke before the alarm sounded which was nice!

We replaced 6 smoke alarms with the Nest. We have 4 in our summer home and because of the ability to use our smart phones, we can constantly be aware of whats going on in our home when we are not there. They talk to us, and they talk to each other to check and make sure they are working together. Great product.

We have continued to expand our home system and this has been a great addition. We really like the smart products and have pivoted to almost exclusively the Nest brand with a lot of success.

Have replaced 4 smoke detectors with Nest Protects. I have one wired and 3 battery powered on the upper level of my home. Plan to add a few more in the lower level. I really like the daily test to confirm that everything is good. Also, the app is quick and user friendly. I was using the nightlight on the lowest setting;however, I have since disabled it as it was too bright carrying a sleeping newborn underneath. I deducted one star for the price. To replace all smoke detectors in your home will require a healthy investment.

Great voice alerts. When something is wrong it tells you rather then the generic "beep". The app lets me control when to do tests during the day and helps provide a safety light at night. The motion sensor helps to detect when I am home and updates the nest thermostat. Everything just works well together.

I love the night light and the ability to change the language. Much better than a standard device.

Very easy to setup. My only complaint is that the mechanism for securing to the ceiling is not that great.

This was pretty easy to install after finding out which breaker my smoke detectors were located on. Easy to set up and looking forward to set up more.

I love my nest, I have it in my kitchen and when I cook bacon and it gets smoky, I’m immediately notified of where the smoke is located. This is actually the second one I have purchase, highly recommended it for people who have pets who stay at home during the work day.
