The only reason this is a 4 star and not 5 star is because of the Google Nest app. Had some difficulty getting it to accept the device in the app. Called Google customer support (very helpful) and they got it fixed. Otherwise, it works great now.

Easy to hook up, works perfectly. I love this thing. Just that darn price. I usually wait till black friday and pick one up for $99.

Simple hardward install AND easy software setup. Easy integration with existing Lutron Castea. Love the "Night Light" feature. Replaced an 8 month old One Link due to false alarms.

I have had my nest installed for about 2 years now. It has worked perfectly all that time. It was easy to install and hook up to my WiFi which made it especially good.

This is my second Nest smoke device. Works great. Once integrated into my home network the two units began communicating with each other and work together as one unit.

The smoke detector is a wired smoke detector so you don’t have to worry about batteries however if there’s a loss of power make sure you have batteries to back things up.

This Nest Protect is the second one in our collection of Nest products. We are very happy with them. I was pleased to see how the two smoke detectors communicate with one another.
