I thought it would be as simple as plugging the new one in to the older wiring, it wasnt. I had to rewire using the new harness. but works good

Not worth the bother

Then it took me a while to figure out how to disable the night light. Other than it being overpriced, it’s pretty much like a standard not so smart alarm.

I like that it has batteries but also the ability to be wired. Havent tried to test it yet besides pushing the test button, which of course made it sound. Will give 5 stars if/when it detects a fire correctly.
