    I really don’t like it because it won’t work with either app, Echo or Google Nest. It keeps giving me an Offline message on the app. Other than, using it physically it’s nice.

    Thermostat

    It looks nice and it’s smaller than I wanted. Also when I need to adjust the Temperature, it does not work as well, when I use my hand. But in my phone I have no problem adjusting the temperature.

      Thanks for letting us know about your experience with Nest Thermostat. Sorry about the issue you’re experiencing when adjusting the temperature using the touch bar. We’d like to help you out right away.

      If the touch bar doesn’t respond at all, you can follow the steps below to perform a manual restart on your thermostat:

      - Pull the thermostat off its base and remove both AAA batteries.
      - Replace the batteries and press the thermostat onto the base until they hear it click into place. The thermostat will take a few moments to turn on and restart.

    Always disconnecting & doing its own thing. We have smart appliances and lights but this is the only thing we have issues with.

      Hi there KBay, thanks for letting us know about the issue with your Nest Thermostat. It's unfortunate to hear that it's always disconnecting. Your Nest thermostat gets its power from your HVAC system’s wiring and requires a stable and constant 24 Volt supply. There are cases where these wires can't deliver enough power to support the Nest thermostat's features, then they start draining the batteries and disconnect from your Wifi network. In such cases, installing a common(C) wire between your HVAC and Nest thermostat is required and will help fix such issues. We recommend contacting a Nest Pro technician to help check your system and advise you whether your system will need a common (C) wire or not.     It would easily be a five but it wasn’t able to be installed due to the lack of a c-wire connection. I now have to buy additional components and install it myself

      Nest Thermostat gets its power from your HVAC system’s wiring. There are cases where these wires can't deliver enough power to support the Nest thermostat's features, then they start draining the batteries and disconnect from your Wifi network. In such cases, installing a common (C) wire between your HVAC and Nest thermostats can resolve the battery drain problem.

    Could take a while to connect. Customer Service shaky at best because instead being a expert the follow a guild book instead of knowing the product, Nest Hello even worse took hours.

    Slick looking, eady to install. But..,intermittent issues that I never experience on the earlier generation. Trying to get a refund from google

    Would not recommend this thermostat

    I do not recommend this thermostat. It it unable to keep my bedroom at a comfortable temperature. The room is always too hot or too cold, and I have to manually override the thermostat. For example sometimes when the temperature in the room is several degrees above the set level the air conditioning does not come on.

    Seems like a neat product, but be careful of your current wire setup... I bought it and wasn’t able to install it because of the wires my current thermostat has...

    Great product if there’s no need to hold temp below 50 degrees. The slide bar on the side sometimes requires a few attempts to engage.

    Do Not Buy This Version

    Do not buy this version of thermostat unless you want to continue to change the temperature in your house. I have owned other Nest thermostats and have been able to manage them as needed to work for everyone's comfort in the house. These are not that flexible and no matter how you schedule them, they will always go into ECO mode. This has been by far the worst purchase I have made in a while.

    I got the damage pce

    I purchase from Best Buy I didn’t put on Because my technician was on vacation he come after 3 weeks he put on it work only 4-5 days after that stop it is not working I took back to Best Buy they they didn’t take it back I told them to exchange the PCs they said no we can’t now it is garbage for me I can’t use
