Purchased two of these a couple years ago and they are working great!

Compact and easy to install, does not have learning but easy to control through mobile.

Very happy with the performance of the device and the interaction with my smart home ecosystem. Price is high, but with the rebates from my town and state, it isn't much more than a typical thermostat. The main downside for us was two issues: 1 - we don't have a common wire in the locations our thermostats are located and can't use the adapter sold separately, so we had to pay an electrician to run new wire. The only reason for a common wire is to power the more hungry Nest. Not sure why they couldn't just include a rechargable battery or even have one as an add-on. 2- We have radiant hydronic floor heating in one room and this Nest is not compatible with the Tekmar control system which regulates that room. While I realize these are different brands and compatibility is not required, it would be nice if they could work a software patch that would allow the Nest to interact. The patch could be sold for a reasonable price with the proceeds getting split between the manufacturers. One other annoyance is we wish we could set each thermostat to respond to individuals not being home. Currently if everyone isn't home, it will go into ECO mode and stop heating/cooling according to the temperature range you set. However, my teenage daughter has her own thermostat and it would be great if that one thermostat would shutoff the system when she left for work or school.

wonderful product, a gift for our kids home, they loved it, and it was simple to install, works perfectly! We would certainly buy another nest product for our homes.

This is a really nice thing to have! The sleek design and features are awesome! It is somewhat smaller than what I expected, but it works like a charm and was very easy to install.

Unfortunately, this did one did not work for me since I have 2 zones. So for ANYONE reading this if you have more than 1 zone or more than 1 power supply this WILL NOT work for you. You will have to get the Google Learning Nest. Yeah I learned. Learned to spend way more money. Oh yeah, save yourself some time and buy the faceplate at an additional 15 bucks plus tax. You will need it. FYI the faceplate is included in the Learning Nest and the Nest-E. I'm sure this one works great if it works for you.

Okay I may sound like a Google fan boy but I don't care at this point. I set it up for my elderly parents and they love it. My Dad can ask Google what it is set at and tell it to lower the temp and then 30 minutes later when my mom is freezing she can turn it back up. This thing works great. It walked me through step by step on the wiring. Our house was built in 1986 so I was worried the wiring might be different but they had it all covered. It is easy to adjust and program manually or across the Google Home app.

I used a Nest for about 9 years before this one; however, I didn't realize there was a major difference. I had the Learning Nest Before and it was amazing. Never had an issues with the Nest App, programable instantly and connected to my Wi-Fi no problem. This product does not connect to the Nest App, it only uses Google Home but it disconnects every week. The Nest is still connected to the Wi-Fi but the App just disconnects. Other than that 1 issue, i LOVE It.

Works as advertised! Easy setup if you have correct wiring already. App works pretty good. Overall happy

Awesome Smart Thermostat. I love the design and modern look of the thermostat. The app and functionality works great.

The product was easy to install being. I already had one and our other home. Unfortunately, there was not a backup plate to cover the thermostat that was taken off. The description on the box made it appear that there was a backup plate however we had to buy that item separately.

Good value smart thermostat after national grid rebate. Howeve, i am not the buliggest fna of the touch controls on the side and the backing plate not being included is a pain. The thermostat does look very nice and functions well. Just make sure you have a c wire
