So far so good. Very easy to install and operate. Works seamlessly with my other Google home devices. Only complaint I have is that it only goes down to 50° before it automatically kicks on. This probably isn’t a problem for most but I’m using this in my garage and don’t want it to keep it that warm when I’m not in there.

I cant imagine why I didnt have a google nest thermostat to go along with my other home nest items sooner. This app is extremely easy to use and set up for hot or cold situations and also helps monitor energy usage.

This product is great for those that want access away from home. I can adjust the heat for days the kids are home right from my phone at work. Easy video walk through to help install. Just make sure it’s compatible with the wiring and heating type. Sounds harder than it is once you look into online videos.

Very good, looks modern and functional, saves energy

I think as far as smart thermostats can go, this was the easiest to install possible. It came with very clear cut instructions, there's a video available for you to watch that walks you exactly through the process even though a lot of thermostats are different it explains to you exactly what to do. Everything is labeled clearly, and it makes the process a lot less difficult than it seems for people who are unfamiliar with any sort of handiwork. It has fantastic features and saves money on our energy bill. Only wish that this had a lock feature where we could set time frames for the thermostat to lock with a pin code or something. I know the newer version features this, but I would think a software update could easily override that.

This nest smart programmable thermostat is easy to install, easy to use.

Bought this in place of unreliable Honeywell Smart Thermostat. When we bought our home in 19' we had a Honeywell Smart Thermostat. However it was a nightmare to setup *Had to do weird things with wifi on phone to get it to recognize the Honeywell wifi* This was a welcomed change and led my crossover into the Google Home Ecosystem! I set it up initally and have NEVER had to take it off the wall because it lost connection or would not connect. It works effortlessly with the Home App and is very easy to set up a schedule and tweak all of the settings on the App. Also super easy to control when away from home! The screen is NOT touch screen lol. The build in pressure buttons on the side is very neat and sleek since there are no visible buttons. It take a while to get use to swiping up and down for temps if you are adjusting the temp on the thermostat. A great introduction to Smart home tech. And it is SUPER reliable!

Very easy to install. Take your time when programming it on the spp the first time. It will take about 30 minutes to program.

I love my google thermostat! It makes owning an AC unit so much easier! I can just let it automate according to my schedules that I enter into the app and I never have to enter a hot/cold house! Plus it comes in a sleek dark charcoal color!

I mean I guess technically you don't have to go with Google as your tech daddy of choice, but whoever you choose, getting their smart thermostat is basically a no brainer, because of how much you can save on electricity / fuel; for an economy version i'd rank this at S-tier; seemless integration and connectivity

Really nice to be able to monitor and control the temperature remotely. It is very sleek and non-intrusive on the wall.

Thermostat looks and works great. The app is not real user friendly and a bit confusing.

I am lucky enough to have an energy plan that gives me free energy from 8pm to 6 am. And as someone who loves to sleep with the air way down, it's so simple to just have the thermostat set to change at certain times each day. It's much easier to do that on the nest thermostat than with the old thermostat that may already be in your home. I gave up trying to program the old one and would simply try to remember to adjust twice a day. It'll come as no surprise to find that this did not work out well very often. But after the upgrade I've saved an average of 2 dollars a day on energy along with the simple peace of mind not having to worry about it and let the nest just do its thing. Be sure to pick up the backplate as well if you aren't 100% certain that you won't need it. Returns are easy with best buy so it's better to just have it but not need it rather than the other way around. Love how simple and easy to use the nest thermostat and I can't imagine going without it.

The Google Nest Thermostat is very easy to manually operate and control, but it doesn't offer a ton of smart features compared with other smart thermostats and it lacks the ability to “learn” your behaviors and routines.

Elegant looking thermostat that does its job reliably. Remote control through the Google Home app is good. The touch strip on the side is a clunky input, but it's good enough and I rarely use it. Most utilities offer a rebate for participating in their energy saver programs, making this thermostat free or almost free.
