They set it up in my phone and I can control from there. It has started to lose Wi-Fi connection and the Wi-Fi is on in the home. Thats the only problem I have. So the geek squad will come back and show me the way to success like always.

Your Nest thermostat gets its power from your HVAC system’s wiring. There are cases where these wires can't deliver enough power to support the Nest thermostat's features, then they start draining the batteries and disconnect from your Wifi network. In such cases, installing a common(C) wire between your HVAC and Nest thermostats can resolve the battery drain problem.

I love the fact if im cold in bed i can just reach over to my phone and turn the temperature up!! Be sure if u csn get some help installing it. Ensure its fully hooked up. That was my biggest task.

Long lasting battery life and product is super easy to use as well as the google home app. The color is so pretty.

This piece is beautiful, and saves me walking up and down stairs to change the thermostat (esp helpful at night). Looking forward to getting more insights into the HVAC use than from the power company alone with the old one.

Remote control through the Google Home app is good. The touch strip on the side is a clunky input, but it's good enough and I rarely use it. Most utilities offer a rebate for participating in their energy saver programs, making this thermostat free or almost free.

Good product but unstable app

You can't get direct power thru C cable but its definitely worth not spending 250$ on the next model up. There's no real differences besides that

Love how you can just stand in front of it and all of the features appear. I also love how I can control everything through the Google home app.
