Easy to adjust temp on app, learning curve on device, but easy once you figure it out! Great for someone who uses mobile technology regularly, may be harder for people who aren't as familiar with technology

This smart thermostat was sort of a pain. First, it's a Nest but doesn't work with the Nest app. To connect it to our Google home collection of devices, took multiple tries without a clear reason as to why it couldn't save/ add the new device. We finally added it and it's fine. Does the job, easy to set up temperature preferences and schedules. Very basic, clear display. We bought the wall plate separately, which is way huge, but necessary to install. Overall satisfied with the purchase. We also own the more expensive Nest Thermostat and this one is easier to set up schedules, has every feature we actually use.

Had the Nest thermostat E which developed an error after having furnace replaced. Factory reset didn't fix it. I needed a quick replacement so I got this. The mirror finish is nice. Will take a little time to get used to swiping instead of turning the ring. Also I used the Nest app before and this forces using the Google Home app. I have a number of other Google devices so I was used to it. Still, for the thermostat,I preferred the Nest app. The trim kit is no longer included as before. One star knocked off for extra $15 for trim kit. Overall it seems like a good replacement and batteries for backing up settings in case of a power outage are easily accessed on the back of the puck.

I love being able to set each day to the temperatures I want and it is easy to program and I'm even able to to have multiple temperatures set in a single day! I can even control the thermostat from the google home app on my phone which is so convenient.

No difficulty with setting up. Once I changed the router, relinkinf the service was hassle-free. You do not need to be a techie to set up.

Easy set up in app and ability to set different modes. No issues with using remotely via app which has come in handy to adjust settings/temp when gone for longer period of time. My only dislike is system turns on when WiFi is off/disconnected and cannot control from wall unit. Also wish there was a lock feature so my child can’t adjust wall unit. Got it for $1 with comed savings so we are happy for that price but not sure I would keep it if paying full retail.

Install was easy and worked great for the most part. Like that it has replacable AA batteries so no need to run an additional power wire. Didnt give it 5 stars because it IS NOT COMPATIBLE with the nest sensor. I mean come on... what kind of nickle and dime nonsense it this from Google???? If you want to use the sensor (so that it reacts to the temp of a particular room instead of the thermostat location) you will have to spend $150 more on the higher end model. Simply poor customer UX.

This product is very easy to install, took me about 30min. The instructions are clear and the Home app guides you through the process. You can adjust the settings using the tap/slide along the side, or using the app, or using Voice Assistant. Highly recommended

I bought two Google Nest thermostats to replace the 10-year old units I had, one of which was not working. Installation was easy. They work great. They can tell you outside temp, indoor temp, and humidity. Haven't really used the app to run them. But, I like that the option is there. And can't tell if I'm saving any energy because it's been 100 or more degrees outside for days on end. But, the potential is there for when this insane weather subsides. Also, I didn't get the optional backing because they cover up the hole that was in the wall already and the backing plate was unnecessary.

Very good performance and elegant design, easy wiring. Even have the fault detection on your equipment and reccommended fix.

The installation worker was wonderful and took the time to install the nest correctly. It looks beautiful. Its been working great a few weeks in!

Good quality and easy to install. Must verify wiring and ensure have a C wire for proper operation. It had a sensor to know when you are home and can also use your phone to determine when away. Can control via smart phone and Alexa.

It's extremely easy to use. You can control it from your phone. The only issue I've had was finding a wire to connect it directly to a power source so that I don't have to change the batteries every month.

Easy to use we like it. Just follow the set up instructions and you’re on your way.

It's a thermostat that is better than the one we had from 1992. If you have an old one this can only make the AC a better all around experience.

Great product. I brought this as a open box item. Looks brand new and saved me a few dollars. I purchased 2 of these. It makes life much easier. My wife definitely love the fact that she can talk to Alexa to control it.

Love this thermostat! It comes in a few different fun colors. It’s small, compact and stylish. I actually had a guest come over and thought it was a hallway mirror. Really enjoy being able to control via my phone. I can’t say though that I’ve noticed a huge difference in my heating bill which is unfortunate. But it’s very easy to install and once you learn the controls (no buttons on the device), it’s pretty easy to adjust. Extra word of advice…don’t buy the decorative plate accessory. It’s oddly shaped and actually looks awkward behind the thermostat and likely is too small to fit your previous theromastat’s wall plate. (I had an old Honeywell) I didn’t feel like disassembling and removing all the wires so I decided to just keep it.
