I ordered two digital thermostats on 12/2222, but I only got one. It was terrible! I was really disappointed because I really needed to receive these items together and on time.

Paid for the GEEK club and still can’t schedule an installation appointment. Twice I’ve been told soon. Major disappointment in service. Have no idea on product quality if I can’t get it installed and my rebate time frame is running out.

I wasn't involved in the install, so getting everything set up on my phone so I had access was a little frustrating, but I got it figured out. You definitely want to be there while it's getting installed and make sure you get access right away. One of the ones I got as low battery immediately upon installing it, which was also frustrating but a quick fix. The eco and sleep features on it are nice, but they seem to auto-heat to what I think is a pretty cold temperature, but we'll see how it goes after having them installed for a month or so. My hope is that we can lower our energy bill and still provide a good customer experience in our restaurant.

having issue with this product. always msg is coming Replace the battery before your thermostat goes off. i change so many time, in fact every single day this issue after the change the batter also.

Works as advertised. It cost me less than $60 with Oncor discount code. I give it five stars overall because I saved money buying it and now I'll save money on energy consumption. It won't learn like the other one but it will have schedules that you customize to your preference.

I have this and use it in conjunction with the more expensive "learning" thermostat. Why do I have two different ones? Because they were both the last one's on the shelf. My first time using this was in my last apartment. Due to it's "smart" capabilities, which help reduce energy usage from your heating and air system, it essentially pays for itself within the first month's usage. Now in my newly bought house, I had to change out from the old school thermostat back to this one. At first, I was gonna be cheap and just keep the old ones; however, I end up paying for it in the result of high electric bill. I quickly went to the store and got this one (along with the learning thermostat), and have noticed immediate results. I expect buying this will pay for itself within the next month or two.

Well, I wanted to upgrade my thermostat for remote control capabilities. While it said it doesn't require a C-wire, but in my case I still needed one and my older system didn't have it or a way to add one. For those with the same issue, I fixed mine with a C-wire transformer that only takes a few minutes to plug up with an outlet. So there is is a way to make it work. After that, it's running great and I am very happy with the upgrade. Before you make this purchase, you need to check with your existing system and understand what it will take to make it work with this Nest. Even though Google's compatibility check passed me, I still needed to add a C-wire to make it work properly. If all else ask your HVAC guy if you're able to use this.

I bought 3 of these Nest Thermostats and I love them. Some people may not like that the mirrored surface picks up fingerprints which looks bad/needs to be cleaned often. But I use my phone to control them and love being able to adjust/view temperatures and usage. My townhouse has 3 floors and the temps vary a lot by floor, so the data is helpful. I'm glad I did not get the "Learning Thermostat" version. This one is perfect

It was easy to install and has a nice look to it. It doesn’t come with the back plate though

So far i’m loving this thermostat. Installation instructions was easy to understand which made the actual setup a breeze. had it up and running in no time. i’m enjoying not having to walk all the way on the other side of the house to adjust the temp. No issues with it so far.

im Laughing hard at all the pictures provided of peoples walls and the rigging done in some, some crooked AF etc. plus the fact that it works no different than a standard thermostat, i dont need to control it from away, a good programmable thermostat will do that on it's own, what a waste, all the sheep jumping on the bandwagon

As long as your ac/heating system isnt old, this unit will work in systems that do not have a c wire. You MUST have y, w, g, and red. The AAA batteries powers the thermostat! I hope that helps! Oh - use the trim kit for large holes

Very friendly user interface. I much prefer Nest thermostat E to Nest thermostat. The E is lockable which is handy in rental properties. Be aware of difference between thermostat and thermostat E. It’s a shame the E is going out of production.
