This generation of The Nest is far easier to use that previous models at a lower cost. The only difference is the thermostat doesn't "learn" preferred settings over time.

Once i got it setup, it works great. The set points is great. You can put in as many as you want. A little bit of a pain at first.

The Nest E thermostat is an excellent update to the Nest line, it is less expensive and the frosted glass / white design allows it to blend in nicely into the decor.

Besides the look I can’t tell the difference between this and the more expensive one I have. I think learning schedules is the difference but haven’t noticed it.

Works very easy but we have not learned how to stop the temperature from doing his automatic change. The “smart” is fantastic aces song from the phone

My only complaint is that sometimes the thermostat doesn't seem to always automatically recognize when we are not home and turn the Eco-Mode on automatically. Besides that it works great and is super convenient to adjust the thermostat without having to touch it.

A great Nest product if you don't wish to purchase the more expensive model. The only feature lost is Far Sight and a higher resolution display which wasn't a big deal for me.

Be aware of one tho g. Though this is a Google next device, Amazon Echo Show does not recognize it, though other Echo devices do. Weird.

Love the Nest thermostat. Super easy to install. Being able to control thermostat from anywhere is awesome. Knows when no one is home and adjusts accordingly. A++

Very happy with this simplified Nest version. It does all that you need from a smart thermostat. Great value for price, especially with the Black Friday discount.

awesome product, was a bit involved to install but nest support was very helpful great product since it can be easily integrated to smart hubs like google or echo

I have two in my house. I love being able to change the thermostat from anywhere. I even changed it from Italy. Good functionality with Vivint alarm system, too.

Great!! Easy to use and the convience of setting temperature wherever you are. We did have to have geek squad install it so it added to the cost.

Love using this thermostat. When I am away I can turn it on to heat or air. I like that it is easy to place on the wall.

The device works perfect and it's very easy to install. It's already saved me about 13 dollars a month on my electric bill! The app works very well and is easy to set up.

cool little device... convenient while home and away. annoying to setup - it did not want to connect to my 2.4g band, however it connected no problem to the 5g. it is only 15 feet from the wireless router. entering the password was a royal pain similar to using an old style embossing label maker. the few times i contacted support with questions, they were TOO QUICK to basically tell me read the online manual and sent me a link. I would also prefer a way to download its data in a CSV file format for my own analysis activities... it does not support this... I would check out the higer priced model, but not sure it would resolve these concerns. i was told the main diff is the HD screen upgrade.

I have owned a nest earlier got this for a friend we installed it ourself and it was really easy as the best videos and support page came very handy
