With a simple use of the app, I'm able to control and schedule the thermostat settings for day or night comfort temperatures while at home or away. Great product...

I wasn't expecting this nest thermostat to come with a backing plate which I used because we had holes in the wall that I wanted to be covered by our previous thermostat. Love that the thermostat is wifi enabled and we can adjust the temperature from apps on our phone or by using our google home mini.

My favorite feature is the control through the app. Knowing I can check the thermostat at any time regardless of where I am is great. I also like the fact that I can see the history and it shows if the weather affected the used.

Best Smarthome Insvestment for the $$

Setup was a breeze, even with an older A/C and thermostat unit. Took about 15 mins to start up and then the app does the rest. If you are at all interested in the smart home space, get it.

Remote access benefit

During warm weather we can keep the house reasonably cool then make the house as cool as we almost arrive. The reverse is true in colder times. We keep the heat on and then raise the heat to occupying temperatures.

I went about 2 weeks with my heat shutting on and off. I finally had to have it removed and will be returning it to the store. I understand that this is a great product but just not for me & my humidifier.
