    My Nest experience started off good for about a week and a half. I was laying down watching tv and wondering why my heat was taking so long to be felt in the house and then I get a notification that my Y wire was not connected...say what? It was sitting on a wall not being touched (I only use the app for changing temp, etc) so how could it get disconnected? Well I went to the unit and took off the cover only to see that it was indeed connected. After fiddling with the Y wire, the notification showed that it was now the R wire that was disconnected. This went back and forth a few times before I gave up and put my old thermostat on the wall. Thankfully I did not throw my old thermostat away or I would have been making a late night trip to Wal-Mart to buy another one. So not very happy with this thermostat and taking it back asap!
