Use this in our main bedroom to get a more accurate temp, as where the thermostat is currently is normally warmer. Extremely easy to sync with Nest Smart Thermostat, but you can only get the Thermostat to use one sensor at a time.

Helps keep my house comfy... needs better schedule

The Nest temperature sensor does exactly what it's supposed to do: gives me a remote sensor I can put far away from my thermostat so I can keep distant parts of the house comfortable. In summer, this means keeping the upstairs bedroom cool when it's usually a few degrees warmer than downstairs where the thermostat lives. As a temperature sensor, it's just fine, but it would be nice if the scheduling of which sensor to use offered more choices. You can have Nest switch sensors four times a day on pre-programmed intervals, as opposed to a truly customizable schedule like the regular thermostat has. If they just let me switch sensors via the standard thermostat schedule, this product would get five stars from me.

Our smart thermostat is wired at the warmest spot of the apartment so the heater never kicks on when we need it, this little device fixed that issue for us. Super easy set up, probably will buy more if we move to a bigger space. Highly recommended

My house stays at two very different temperatures due to have a big sky light in one end of the house. This has helped us maintain the same temperature throughout the house. So far I’ve own it for 8 months with zero issues and still haven’t had to change the battery out. I would definitely recommend this for people that deal with needing a little more temperature control in their house.

Our master bedroom is unfortunately built over the garage of our house. It’s not a big deal in the winter. However in the summer this causes it to be scorching. We’ve seen it reach 80 degrees before. To get it anywhere near comfortable we’d have to set the a/c to a much lower temperature than the main floor and wait at least an hour to cool down. Life being life however we frequently forgot to do that until we were getting ready to go to sleep. Which caused uncomfortable nights trying to get to sleep. In a last ditch desperate effort we bought the sensor to hopefully take care of that annoying little chore. And we have to say it works amazing. We can choose when the temperature defaults to the sensor and program in what time we want it to cool down through the Nest Thermostat calendar. You can also manually change between the thermostat and sensors as you please. The only real downside to this is you have a time table you have to pick from for the programmable sensor time ex: 7am - 11am. Which compared to the complete control you have with everything else seems like an oversight. All in all I would give it a 9/10 and will probably be purchasing another for our finished basement come winter.

I bought this to put in our upstairs hallway. It easily connected to our Nest Thermostat and is easy to use through the app to check the upstairs temperature and switch it to it if we wanted to. You have the option to set it on a shelf or you can hang it on a wall. It does not require a power cord which is nice. It's also very small which makes it discrete. It's totally worth it if you have multiple floors or areas in your house that might run warmer or cooler than where your thermostat is located.

I recently purchased and installed two NEST smart thermometers in my home, one upstairs and one downstairs. They are on separate AC units but the downstairs living area is larger. The result was a temp maintained near the thermostat was different than in the master bedroom, which was also the furthest away from the AC units. This device was easy to install and evened out the temp in the master bedroom when occupied.

Use this sleek sensor in baby room where it gets too hot or too cold easily. The sensor allows to set the perfect temperature in baby’s room. Setup is seamless via nest app and offers integration via Alexa as well as Google home. I also use the time schedule feature where the reading of sensor is only leveraged by the controlling thermostat on chosen timings (ex: 8pm to 6 am). Very happy with this purchase.

This sensor has a simple setup and is easy to use even for people that aren't technically inclined. I was tired of having to run my A/C unit based on the temperature of the entire house (which last summer turned out to be expensive here in the AZ heat) So far it's allowed me to run my unit based on the temperature of my bedroom and is leading to savings on my electric bill. This sensor will pay for itself in no time!

Setup was a breeze and works great! I tend to sleep very hot at night raising the temperature in the bedroom which was nowhere near the thermostat. This sensor lets me set the temp of the room at night which has helped tons! Highly recommend!

I bought the three pack of Nest sensors, and placed them throughout the rooms in my home. The free Nest app shows me that my kitchen, my bedroom, and my daughter's bedroom are at differing temps throughout the day. Use the sensors to maintain a steady temp through the whole house. Small and discrete, barely noticeable on the walls. Also can be placed on a flat surface if you don't want to mount them.

NEST FOR THE WIN!! We have been battling our house temps for a while. with installing new floors it has been a battle to keep the house warm this winter. These definitely help. We have a smart thermostat and can pick what rooms to individually heat to the temp we like. perfect for what we wanted and a simple setup like all nest products. hope this helps your decision

The title really says it all. Despite the level of tech involved to make this item, it is a relatively simple item with simple functions: connect and relay temperature information. It does that quite well. I like being able to see what the temp is in my different locations. Also, they let you choose the temp. sensor that controls the thermostat. So you can have your house temperature set to that of your coolest room, hottest room, etc. My picture shows the one I have at my coldest place, by the front door, a really drafty place in an old building. When it's extremely cold out, I have the thermostat set for that location, at a bit lower than normal temp. If it's fairly warm there, it's nice and toasty in the rest of the house. They are easy to add to Nest and easy to use. A worthwhile purchase.

This little sensor is just perfect. Functioning right out of the box when connected with your Nest thermostat (through apps). I tested it right away and Nest thermostat picked it up right away. Used multiple times when working out in the basement (colder are of the house) and it helps regulate my "gym" temperature.

I was trying to avoid installing another heating zone in my house which would have cost me thousands. This little gadget comes with HUGE benefits. It allows you to name the different thermostats and you can heat specific rooms with ease through the Nest app. Very easy to use all in one location. The downside is that the entire house will heat according to the temperatures of the room you set it to. The room i bought it for is usually 5 degrees colder than the main thermostat. Heating the room to the same temperature of the main thermostat will cause the entire house to heat up that much more as well. Regardless this is a win in my eyes, i saved thousands with an easy purchase of less than $40. Cant ask for more.

I purchased two of these and love how they enhance the effectiveness of my Nest Thermostat. I placed one in the bedroom and one in the family room, while my thermostat is in a hallway. Now the thermostat can regulate the temperature for the bedroom at night and the family room during the day. They were very easy to connect and have been working flawlessly for a couple of months now. I highly recommend this item.

I needed the temperature sensor because the thermostat is at one end of the house and the living area is at the other end. It is easy to select which sensor is primary, but in my case it took a couple of days to find the medium location so that one end of the house was not TOO hot and the other end barely comfortable. Since then everything has worked as advertised.
