Great thermostat works well connects quick and easy with simple install. 4 stars since it doesn't work with the best temperature sensors

This was easy to install and set up. I really like being able to control the unit with my phone. Setting up schedules of when it is on or off or reducing temperature when we are not home is very nice.

Purchased this for an older gas furnace with a forced air system. Bought new HVAC wire since my old thermostat only req'd a red and white (YES you need C wire or transformer if you only have a R and W!). Was having my furnace constantly turning on and off. Eventually purchased a transformer from Amazon to power the Nest. Having a hard time connecting it to Wifi, but it does what I need and is much more aesthetically pleasing than my previous clunky thermostat.

Thermostat was super easy to install. The batteries it came with were already dead and only realized after finishing install which kind of sucked but it was very easy to just remove the face plate and change them out.

After initially getting a cheaper brand that turned out to be a complete nightmare to set up and was nowhere near as intuitive, I brought back the other brand and bought two of these Nest Thermostats (one for upstairs one down). The Nest was really easy to set up and does support no C wire without having to rig anything in your furnace panel wiring. One it was connected to WIFI it set up in a matter of minutes with no issues. It did take a little learning to figure best way to set up for how you best want the thermostat to work during certain times of the day but think I have that sorted and while on vacation I am able to adjust themp up on my phone while turning down prior to our return. Does what it says at a great price.

Impressive! I’ve always used the programmable ones from the big box store but tried this one and it works great and I like the app.

This is the 2nd Google Nest Thermostat I have purchased. I bought this one for my 2nd home and it works great. I love how well the Google Nest Thermostat integrates with all my Google devices,

I am really glad I made the upgrade from my ancient thermostat to this Nest Smart Thermostat. I had been running the heater more than normal during this especially cold winter. After a couple of rather high electric bills, I figured a new thermostat would likely run more efficiently and, hopefully, help lower my usage and bills. I am not sure of the effect on my bills yet. But the AC certainly seems to be running more efficiently. I also love having the ability to control the settings while away from home. I have lowered the temp while away after having forgotten to do so before leaving. That's not only efficient but a cool bit of tech. Even if it does not greatly reduce my overall usage and costs, it is a great upgrade for all that it does provide.

I have a nest at another home and it works great. I wanted one for my vacation home so I could monitor both from one app. The HVAC guy hooked it up and we could not get the heat to work. After much investigating we found out the Nest wont work on many old thermostat lines because there is not the correct wires. Because there is no attic in the vacation home we can not rewire without tarring walls out. This is very annoying. and now I have a nest i can't use.

I like the device more than the smart learning one. It’s simple and blend in with my home. You rarely notice that it’s there. I love the product, and it maintains the temperature and I barely notice the heater is on

We had the Nest Learning thermostat before. It always did odd things. Switched to this one and it's been great! Easy to read, easy to use, and the app is pretty easy too (Google Home app). Hooking it up was straight-forward and simple. The setup wasn't too bad, but it complained about the "C" wire. I reseated it and still had issues. I looked it up and saw that many people had to reset it to get it to work. Reset to factory settings, completed setup again, and it worked!

easy to install with online video instructions. my previous thermostat was pretty huge compares to this NEST, so I have to get the back plate to cover up some screw holes etc. once installed, I love it.

Easy to install. Works well but I’m having issues. It often gets disconnected from network so I’m having to reset it daily.
