    I’m only giving this three stars because the new design made it unable to be compatible with hvac units from 2014???? Very confused sad I had to return. The upgraded versions that have been released before this are supposed to be compatible.

    Disappointed that this did not work for my hvac system. My system is fairly new and was very surprised. I guess I should have tried the nest learning module. I even did the nest questionnaire before hand and it said it would work.

    I’m sure this thermostat works as well as the others in the series. My reason for 3 stars is the site says it’s comparable then I spend time getting it trying and finding it isn’t compatible then returning it. Super annoying.

    This smart thermostat is awesome and has an easy to read screen in any light setting. The controls for navigating the settings on the device itself takes a little bit to get used to, so I mainly used the Google Home app for all adjustments.

    Bought this for my parents house. Seems great value for the money. It does not have the learning feature which may not save them as much money but they are always home so it did not seem necessary. Did have some difficulty setting it up but seemed to be the unit and not the thermostat.

    I purchased a reconditioned unit. So I have to pair the unit everyday to our phones in order to use our phones to adjust. The heat setting only blows cold. When it's hot it randomly goes to 78 degrees when we are sleeping so it feels like a sauna when we wake up. I'm sure we purchased the unit that says reconditioned and they did nothing to it. We only had 15 days to return it and by the time we were trying to see if it was us not knowing how to use it or it truly wasn't working it was too late. What I've learned not to buy reconditioned items from Best Buy.
