Do not buy this phone. There is a manufacturer's defect that eventually causes the wifi chip to malfunction and fail. Mine stopped working within 2 years of purchase.

I tried this phone 3 times and all 3 times it didnt work properly. The "screen calling" and "hold for me" didnt work on this phone. I was an update would fix this issue by google support? I got 2 updates and still didnt work? I gave up with pixel phones.

The phone is cool pure android but processor is weak

I will never buy ANYTHING from Best Buy after this last experience! I bought a 128 g Google 8 Pro phone for my husband, but they were out of stock of the 256g. So, the salesman told me I could try later that month (December) & exchange the 128g to the 256g for $50 more! I came back the end of the month and Kewan (so called manager) said to come back January 6 to exchange the phone for the difference of $50 at the the Green Acres store. We get there and now the 256g was more money and they only had it in a town 1/2 hour away! I said you have to honor the $50 difference and he walks away, then a manager comes to tell us he can’t honor the $50 difference! Waste of time, gas and nothing but LIES! I’m done and blasted you on social media!

The Pixel 8 Pro is Google's new flagship phone. It's an amazing phone that is a pleasure to use. The shape and feel of the Pixel 8 Pro is near perfect. It feels light but solid. It's easy to hold onto and navigate the phone's screen. Navigating the screen is pleasurable. The haptic feedback is appreciated. There is something very satisfying about getting feedback for button(screen) presses, and gestures. The only issue I have with the phone's aesthetic is I don't really care for is the camera hump. It's high enough on the phone where it doesn't interfere with your grip, but aesthetically, I don't care for it. The phone's speaker also sounds very good. The new Android 14 OS is very pleasurable to use. There is a small learning curve, but Google includes lots of tips and tricks how to use the new features. I also really like how you can customize your display. You can change the icon size, text size, grid layout, and the color pallet. You can really tailor the home screen to suit your needs/wants. The gesture navigation features took a minute to get used to, but now that I'm very comfortable using them. It's like second nature. The camera takes excellent pictures. I'm not a professional, but I know that when I take a picture it comes out very well no matter the lighting conditions. The phone seems to make anyone a good picture taker. Also when you zoom in, at a certain point it appears to lock onto what you're aiming at and keep the screen steady. At first the screen appears to look grainy, but once you take the picture, it appears to be crisp and clear. Along with the camera, there is the temperature sensor. When trying it out, I got a different measurement every time with the same object. Not sure why this was included, but hey, it has one. The Pixel 8 Pro plays all the latest games effortlessly. I've been playing a lot of the new Monster Hunter Now game, and have been really enjoying it on this phone. One thing to note is that the phone does tend to get fairly warm while playing games or streaming videos. Battery life is very good. When the phone is idle overnight, it uses barely any of the charge. You also get 30 Watt fast charging with the Pixel 8 Pro, which is fast, but having used other phones with higher Watt charging(faster charging) this is something I wish was different. You also get seven years of updates with this phone, but I can only really see this as a positive for the second hand market. I feel most Pixel 8 Pro users will most likely move on to a newer model long before then. Likes: 1.) Excellent shape and size 2.) Haptic feedback 3.) Speaker sounds great Dislikes: 1.) Don't care for the camera hump 2.) Phone tends to run on the hot/warm side 3.) Only 30watt fast charging

Just another pixel, don't see anything new or exciting

I had to return two of these phones with the same issue. When you type or tap on anything it wouldn't respond. I loved the phone for its options but wouldn't recommend until they work out the bugs

Don't buy the Google Pixel Pro..Screens dying within 18 months. Worst Protection for small drops as well

If you are looking for a good (real) Android experience, then try a PIXEL PHONE (from Google). It is maybe an issue that Android OS is available for several brands as they are customizing it and deviating it from its original design. With Google, there is always something new with every new device and every release. Never repeating the same essential features when updating. Pixel 8 Pro is no exception. The phone feels premium, the screen is amazing and very bright. Screen refresh rate and resolution are amazing. Battery life is very good. Lasting long enough (until re-charging). Charging speed is still not one of the best available but good enough. Making calls and answering them could be done differently now. While Tensor G3 might not be the best on papers or when compared with other brands, Google indeed figured out how to make it run smoothly and nicely. The Pixel 8 Pro is packed with intelligence and voice controlling. Google indeed changed what people know about taking photos / videos and editing them on the fly. The phone is very capable. Phone coverage is fine. 5G is working fast. WiFi and Bluetooth are also working very good. Cameras are amazing, again. The temperature measuring feature seems like un-complete project or function. I'd say Google is trying to make it measure skin temperature but maybe it needs to be approved by medical regulators... Maybe. One down side of the phone is the big cameras' bump... It would make the cameras glass more exposed if used without a case. Also, the metal around the cameras is very easy to scratch... Photos and videos editing is some of the very nice features this phone is offering. Then, the AI integration in every aspect is adding smartness to a "smart" phone.

Not as expected. For the hardware it should be better. User interface is not where near a cheap version of $amsungs. Don't waist your money.

When i went to best buy to get the phone it was during a promotion, if you trade in your phone you get 250$ plus a Google pixel watch they were having a issue with there system and told me to come back the next day. when I showed up the next day they said the promo had ended and the system was still down so they weren't able to help told me they would call me when it was up and running again never got a call and just drove to another best buy the got the phone there sadly without the promo. Now the phone itself is great no issue.

I wanted to try because of the commercial, wish I had not seen them. It's not what I thought for been a google phone. I was expecting a better handling of apps and functions within the phone. Even browsing the web should be simple, things like copy and paste should be simple. Unfortunately Google Pixel Pro has let me down.

I broke my phone and they didn't even have it in stock I was disappointed they couldn't replace it and I needed a phone on that same day the lady there factory resetted my phone so i had to buy a whole new phone

Customer service over the phone will promiss the world and the workers are stuck dealing with breaking bad news to purchasers. Very bad experience and a huge waste of time

I bought this google pixel after watching a few YouTube reviews. The reviewers mentioned the subpar battery life but I thought nothing of it. The phone’s battery was not good compared to the iPhone 13 Pro Max I had come from. I returned the GP8P and got an iPhone 15 Pro Max instead.

I had an worst experience with BestBuy while trading my iphone with this product. BestBuy cancelled my trade-in for no reason.

I returned the product and only received half the money I was supposed to receive. When I returned it they said you will get it and I did but I only got half of it. It's a disgraceful situation. I never recommend it. Do not take into account the words of the manager Stephen R.

The phone itself is great but NEVER get it from best buy if you are considering to trade in your used phone. It takes more than 2weeks to verify one used phone and best buy personnel told me that they need another 2weeks to do so. Get this phone anywhere else but best buy!

very bad quality I have had many problems since I bought it and it is the third one that I have changed since they did not work
