I used an extender but that wasn't very good and definitely left room for improvement. This mesh system has worked out great and was super simple to install. Full bars across the entire house now.

Slow speeds with FIber

I totally recommend this Google wifi for a better Internet connection. The reach around the house is pretty impressive and the freedom to give priority to certain devices is amazing.

Prior to purchase I was not getting the connect speeds I should have been getting. We also had problems with some family members getting disconnected when too many were on Wifi, especially during zoom calls!. Since we got google wifi we have had NO issues and my speed is great!

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Yes, easy to set up until you measure the speed which was low....after speaking to Tech support (very helpful), I realized I had to call ATT to modify settings on my router so there is a direct pass through (no double NAT) and turn off their wi-fi to avoid interference. Since I don't want two vendors pointing at each other when things don't work, I decided to return it. Otherwise, I would have kept it.
