I live in a long and narrow apartment, bedrooms at both ends, house built in the late 19th century. Before I got the nest, the bedrooms had awful Wi-Fi. Now I’ve got smooth sailing from wall to wall, end to end.

We have a very spacios house with many dead spots and point s where wifi isn’t enough. We got 5 of these google networks and it works perfect! Allows us to maximize on our speed and its ideal for the super techy person.

Changed life in my home!!! Works through the thick hacienda-style walls like a dream. Have been waiting for this product for 10 years.

This system works great,I have a huge house and this covers the garage,basement,front deck,all around the house even out in the yard. I would recommend this product to everyone!!!!!!!!!

If you to extend the coverage of the internet in your home, these are the best. Just buy it and you will very happy

Paired with an Arris surfboard modem.. Fantastic!! Perfect mesh coverage. No buffering and we have a 4500 square foot home.

3 units worked for a 2700 sq ft home for ~1 year. The 1st and 3rd points are Ethernet cables and the middle unit is wireless. Worked well for a year w/ 200mbps internet. Now I constantly get “mesh network is weak” notifications, constant periods of low bandwidth and usage has remained flat in that time period. Going to try tp link as I love the idea of the mesh network but can’t tolerate loading screens anymore.

Google wifi mesh Router (AC 1200) works excellent and I am happy with that.

The router does not seem to keep a connection with each other

Not sure why modems/routers weren't mesh a long time ago; it's the way it always should've been. I imagine bridges and extenders are irrelevant now that we have mesh networks. I like how flexible the included ethernet cable is, but they didn't label the speed on it; I'm kind of reluctant to reuse it without knowing what speeds to expect, which is probably the throwaway thinking that Google wants customers to have. I made the mistake of using an unintelligible password, and then the stars really aligned in Google's favor; I lost the password when I moved, and Google forced Google Wifi users to switch apps. The app migration has made it impossible to troubleshoot my mesh routers, so my parents plan on buying a new set. Yay, even more money to Google; forget being able to fix problems when you can just keep paying the people who won't help you. Not sure what could've made the software experience better; all I can do is point at an example of a better service, like Valve's Steam Guard Authenticator.
