We have the higher power Google mesh router system in our house, and wanted to get something for my parents' for Christmas. They live in a brick home that is half basement (similar to mine), and the Wi-Fi range was terrible. At our house, we had upgraded to a rockin modem / router combo and got 1/10 of the distance promised because of the building materials. The Google Mesh system changed the game, in a time when both my husband and I are on Zoom calls all day and need reliable connection. Back to this product - tried the lower price one for my retired parents (who are also on WiFi all day, just not video calls) and they LOVE it. This is perfect for their house, and makes it so we can also work there whenever we visit. One thing to note - when we set up our system, my husband spent hours trying to figure out why it wouldn't connect. Nothing online addressed his issue, customer support couldn't figure it out. He ended up flipping a switch / turning off a feature on the modem that literally nobody had addressed, just to see what happened, and it finally worked. For this system, we had none of those issues connecting it to their modem / router combo.

Prior to the purchase of this product I had a wi fi extender in my home. It was a Netgear extender that worked fine for about a year. I had a power outage recently and the Netgear after that would no longer connect to my router. Netgears customer service was useless.After the first 15 minutes they gave me the opinion that they could resolve my issue . But that changed quickly when they said I had a router issue and then he tried selling me Netgear products as a fix . I told him no thanks and that I was considering buying a Google mesh system. He said I will have the same issue with the Google mesh due to my router being faulty. After this conversation ended I called Verizon and they checked my router and said I had no issues. The next day I purchased the Google mesh. It was simple to hook up via the Google home app.It was a 3 pack and I have a Google mesh device on each level of the house. On a daily basis I check my signal strength and it is always excellent . I bought the extended warranty though Best Buy for peace of mind. Great product.

We have Spectrum as our internet/wifi provider and there equipment was incapable of providing uninterrupted wifi to the rear of our home. With a high school student on schooling from her bedroom and Dad working from home.. we faced serious disruption issues. Buying the Google Wifi set immediately fixed the situation. Simple to install, it really is plug and go and it Works!

Tremendous router. I was new to the idea of these mesh routers, and I have been blown away. Half of our house previously had received no signal, and since installing these the entire house is strong as can be. Very impressive. And setup is extremely easy, as well. Basically plug and play, although you’ll need to use google Home.

Always had issues with coverage throughout my home till I bought this.

Excellent. Fast, easy set up when adding an additional network. We simply wanted to add a separate, extended network for laptops, iPads, etc. The Google Home app was easy to use and setup was very fast and seamless. A little worried about what kind of network traffic records Google might be storing on us, but I think they will find it t be pretty boring.
