    Never worked properly

Never got this working properly. The phone app support seemed great, but this mesh set never provided any decent download connection. Worse than the little Netgear that was not working well. Bought a Netgear Nighthawk instead and have been very satisfied with that instead.

Subpar features, everything is controlled through an app. This is good if you know nothing about technology and are fairly dumb. If you are into IT or know anything about computers and like to customize your network: look elsewhere.

Garbage... Honestly the units themselves are actually work pretty well, but essential configuration options are just missing (seemingly intentionally). I'm replacing these so if they fix these issues in the future disregard this review. Bonus: Good luck contacting google for help

Dont buy this product! The download speeds and coverage it markets are false. Way below standard and dowsnt cover the square footage of the house as it claims it would. Unable to view true 4K picture quality because barely get 7mbps and get sub par connection with exterior ring camera.

Horrible. One of them didn’t work and y’all make it really inconvenient to have to return. I have to disconnect the other two after it took me awhile to connect so that I can return all together to get a whole new set when all I really need is one. I will never be buying from Best Buy again.

    WOWOW

I was deciding between this and the Nest Wifi from Google but ended up with this instead. Right out of the box, it was easy set up. The first point was connected to my existing router without and issue. The 2nd point there it wouldn't connect for some odd reason but then it eventually did and I tested the speeds and WOW. SPECTACULAR!! Prior to this, I was using a wifi extender to help me but alas, it barely did. Using the Google wifi mesh system, I was able to connect to the router without any interruption of service. My room is the furthest away from the router which is why I needed an upgrade especially since I work from home now and have to double VPN. Before purchasing, I knew that with my sister playing her Genshin Impact (LOL), my VPN would lag/twitch but now it isn't an issue anymore!! Let's see how this baby behaves in 6months to a year. I got the 4 year warranty too just in case. Hope this helps!

    Awful Performance

Getting 1/3 of my internet speed after about a month. I've missed the return window at BB and I'm now just so disgusted with this Google product. The mesh network itself appears to cover the house well, but the speeds and performance are abysmal unless I set one device as a priority device. This is unacceptable.

Without a doubt, the worst wifi device I have ever tried. Easy enough to setup, but the speeds were 75% slower than the basic modem/router from my ISP. Does not play well with Apple devices, lots of hoops to jump through to *try* to get the speeds back up to par with other solutions. Avoid at all costs.

These are horrible. I was told by an employee that these could handle a gig no problem. I wasn't even getting 10% of what I should of been getting nor could they stop them from dropping the internet connection so I went out and bought a gaming router and also these very nice $200 Google paper weights

These really suck. I installed as directions said. Everything was connected and the device kept saying the Ethernet cable was not plugged in. Well the cable they sent was plugged in and never could get this thing to work. Don't waste your time with this chinese crap. NEVER AGAIN !!!!!

The units don’t extend the cover much further the my Netgear router. I am sad they don’t work better. An camera outside my house does not pickup the mesh that well. Less than 50ft away through glass window.

These wifi extenders are great and so is Geek Squa

I am not a computer person and got these only because the Geek Squad tech recommended them and said Installation was free. I am very happy with these extenders. I have a 2 story house and all my ‘gear’ (routers, WAP unit, etc.) are on the second story far west side of the house. My den, where we spend most of the time is on first floor, far east side of house. It was getting to the point where my iPhone couldn’t get a wifi signal in the den! And some streaming channels, like Paramount Plus would keep buffering or just not open. Ever since Geek Squad set up the extenders, wifi is great, streaming is very good and so we, are happy. I get my moneys worth from being a Geel Squad member and from the products they select for me and install properly.

This equipment does not provide a strong enough signal as stated in the description. We have a multilevel 3,500 square foot home and the equipment only supplied half of our home with a usable signal.
