||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Easy to install and operate. I used these to make my in home Verizon router signal more convenient throughout my property. Now there is no space were the WiFi signal is weak. My wife and I can work at separate locations while our child uses their devices and there is no loss of signal.

||Posted . Owned for 1.5 years when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.2-Star Review for Google Wifi - Mesh Router (AC1200) - 3 Pack - White I recently purchased the Google Wifi Mesh Router 3-Pack hoping to improve my home network, but my experience has been disappointing, leading to a 2-star rating. Inconsistent Performance: Despite the promise of seamless coverage, I have experienced frequent dropouts and inconsistent signal strength. Even with three units, there are still dead spots in my 2,500 square foot home. This defeats the purpose of investing in a mesh system that is supposed to eliminate these issues. Complicated Setup: The setup process was more complicated than expected. The Google Home app, which is required for setup, is not as intuitive as it should be. I encountered multiple connectivity issues during setup, requiring several resets and a significant amount of troubleshooting. Limited Advanced Features: The Google Wifi system lacks advanced features that are available in other mesh systems in the same price range. There are minimal customization options for network settings, which is frustrating for users who want more control over their home network. Performance Degradation: After a few weeks of use, I noticed a significant degradation in performance. The units require frequent reboots to maintain stable connections, which is inconvenient and time-consuming. This inconsistency is unacceptable for a product in this price range. App Issues: The Google Home app, which is essential for managing the network, has several issues. It’s slow, often fails to load, and lacks the detailed insights and controls that other mesh network apps provide. This makes it difficult to monitor and manage the network effectively. Lack of Ethernet Ports: Each unit only has two Ethernet ports, which are quickly used up if you have multiple wired devices. For a system intended to provide comprehensive home coverage, the limited number of Ethernet ports is a significant drawback. Customer Support: When I reached out to Google customer support for help with my connectivity issues, the response was slow and unhelpful. The representatives seemed ill-equipped to resolve my problems, often suggesting basic troubleshooting steps that I had already tried. Price vs. Performance: Given the high price of the Google Wifi Mesh Router 3-Pack, I expected a significant improvement in my home network. Unfortunately, the performance issues and lack of advanced features do not justify the cost. There are better and more reliable options available at similar or lower price points. In conclusion, the Google Wifi Mesh Router 3-Pack has been a disappointing purchase. The inconsistent performance, complicated setup, lack of advanced features, app issues, and poor customer support make it hard to recommend. For the price, I expected much better reliability and user experience.

Easy to set up, no more dead spots
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have a big stone chimney in the center of my house. My verizon router left dead spots in the house, even with a repeater, so I decided to move to a mesh system. I had the Google Mesh set up in less than an hour and no more dead spots. Easy to use and happy with the performance.

Easy out of the box setup
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Every step of the way was easy, unboxed plugged one into router, setup is all done via the Google Home App and set the remaining two up around the house. Connectivity for all devices is so much better and was able to get my new garage door opener to work too as it connected with the nearest mesh device.

Works great for more coverage
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The set up was a little painful. It definitely wasn't as easy as you see in the videos. There is no way to contact google via phone when you are in a situation. So if your not tech savvy I wouldn't recommend to do this yourself. Overall it's a fair system, we get the signal in the basement and my cameras outside definitely get a better signal. If your trying to get more coverage this is definitely what you need.

Works great
||Posted . Owned for 8 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a single wifi router on main floor of a 3 story house. Coverage was poor and signal was weak upstairs and non existent downstairs. Purchased this Google mesh system and placed one puck per floor. Now internet is blazing fast everyhwhere in my home. System performs as advertised.

Great for older model
||Posted . Owned for 7 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great product. This is not the latest model but is still super reliable and fast. We have multiple devices and not a single hiccup on any while running simultaneously. No need to buy the latest and greatest unless you have a massive home and need more coverage area.

Love it!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have Centurylink and have been paying for 40mbps for years, while only receiving 4-8 from their modem/router. Google Nest now has me receiving the full 40. We have a 3,500 sq ft house (1,750 upstairs, 1,750 downstairs) and we get the same speed all throughout our home.

Terrible for a 3 story home
||Posted . Owned for less than 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. So, let me start off by saying that I currently use a Linksys router that is about four years old in the basement of my 3 story home (including the basement). That router has been working fine since I moved into my house, but I do notice that upstairs I get a slightly weaker and slower wifi signal. So, i decided to try a mesh system after reading a lot about them and this specific one have a lot of good reviews. Well let me tell you how disappointing the system was. The biggest benefit I see to it was that it is extremely easy to set up. Set up took about 10 minutes and then it updated for about another 10. The Wi-Fi signal in the office that the main hub (the puck that was acting as the main router) was extremely fast. My current router gives me about 240 mbps down and this one did give me 380mbps. But, on every other level of the home (I placed a puck in the basement, main level and upstairs) was extremely laggy. I couldn't even stream Hulu or Netflix without it buffering every minute. And the Apple TV is inches away from the Wi-Fi puck. everything on the Google Home app said that all three pucks had extremely strong signal and the mesh network seemed to be working seamlessly, but that didn’t feel like the case. Anywhere in the house besides being in the office with the main router on any device was extremely laggy. Overall this system was very disappointing and I will probably just be getting another (stronger) single router and returning this one.

So far so good.
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Hard to review this thing, since it's doing what it's supposed to do. Working as advertised, no dead spots, no issues. So far since I got rid of Xfinity, this is the most trouble free internet I've had. But, this could be because of my new ISP.

Great Purchase
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great home network system. Runs all my devices with no lag. Has guest network for friends. Has every room in my house covered. My 4K TV’s runs smooth while Xbox is playing and multiple laptops running. I have notice that 13 devices going at once you will notice a lag. But it’s not a huge lag.

Best Mesh Network
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Outstanding ease of use for the development of our home network. We had some dead zones in our house that caused our steaming to slow to a crawl. We bought this pack to go with one google WiFi from our previous home. The four of them together provide excellent coverage for our two story home.
