it's my first time doing review so disappointed with this purchase we tried it at home it's working fine so we brought it to Canada for a vacation there after a few days but on the very first day we're using it, the karma grip malfunction with a red light and i tried everything hard reset it still not working so we used just for more than an hour and that's it it broke after more than an hour of use. we tried to return it to best buy as soon as we return to US even if we pay $200 for storage fee we don't care because this is a bad product but they say 15 days was over so I can't return it. Please don't buy this product but if you want a headache I absolutely recommend this product to you.

I am new to drones. I bought this on a recommendation from a friend. I figured at the least I would have a Gopro camera plus the Karma grip should I loose interest in the drone. I watched all the “how to” videos, charged the battery and headed out to fly. Two minutes into flight I hear, “GPS Lost” and the drone headed towards a parking lot. I immediately panicked and tried to land it. I hit the ground and broke a propeller. I say this to warn first time flyers to beware. Fly low and learn to control the drone before taking it out to its maximum limits. I had mine at about 6 feet when that happened to me. Be aware that these things can happen and be prepared. Also Karma is not compatible with Google WiFi. I actually took my first unit back and exchanged it because the controller would not connect to my home WiFi. Later research I found others who had the same issue. Since my first bad flight and getting the WiFi issue fixed I have loved flying this drone

Not really a fan. You get a good deal If you factor out all the stuff you get in the bundle but it's very big, hard to travel with, and no sensors around the drone

I don't Recommend this product to any one it's weak and poor quality and they are really behind compare to DJI, I love the GoPro camera but not the drone.

It is loud. TOO LOUD. It does not hover well. Drifts all over the places. Battery sucks. I went to DJI Mavic pro. Much happier now.

the product had a mulfuntion and bestbuy didn't do anything to held us out. needles to say we lost the product on the first day of use and no help from bestbuy

Gopro camera was awesome as always but the drone was lacking in everyway other than the controller .

I read several reviews on this and other drones prior to purchasing. I was a bit nervous about it, due to some negative press last fall...but have no worries after flying. I can say this drone is easy to fly right out of the box, and very fun. It provides a very smooth video. This is due to the included gimbal and the smooth flying and turning of the drone. While I find the speed adequate, it is not too fast or jerky for good video. The benefit of having a GoPro camera is an added bonus, planning on some adventures with this off the drone. Positives: Controller includes a screen, very easy controller. Smooth video. Complete kit with case, grab it and go. Detachable GoPro camera. Easy to use. Upload to cloud, then available to all devices. Full store of accessories on GoPro as well as third parties. Negatives: DOA charger on arrival, but GoPro had real support and handled very quickly. I sometimes have to look at the camera button on controller when starting video, wish it had a bit more pronounced feel. Overall, I think it deserves credit for five stars. (I have not heard any other issues of Doa charger, and it was serviced quickly)

The drone took off without the ability to control it at all. When I addressed it with go pro, they somehow said it was my fault even though I didn't try and fry it and I didn't have any control whatsoever I did however two weeks later get the drone back by posting stuff on Facebook about my missing drone. Now I am stuck with a drone that I am concerned will fly away again

Just on the first flight it started having issues with the reception between the controller and the karma at really close distance. Im sending information and have a ticket with gopro checking what is going on but this is a very big issue. It is not working as it supposed to. If anyone fron bestbuy can assist me on how to check the warranty of it.

This thing was awesome straight out of the box... and then I flew it! This thing is terrible! The customer support is a joke, and the product development devision can pound sand. Way to go GoPro. Your cameras aren’t amazing, but your R&D should leave the drone business to DJI.

Was running fine. But shortly after, Karma drone stopped working . I found out that all Karma drones made by GoPro had an issue with their software. No support and total abandonment from GoPro. Do not purchase this product!

Great for the go pro but terrible drone, can't acquire anywhere

Our GoPro karma crashed within the first two minutes of flight. We have been dealing with the go Pro for over a month now and they do not want to replace it. There is definitely a manufacturing defect but they won't take responsibility. YouTube "karma falls out of the sky"

This product is still defective and they need to do another recall on this drone. Terrible customer service by BestBuy and GoPro will not do anything about it. The drone malfunctioned and flew straight into a wall. Read all reviews on this product. BUYER BEWARE!

Stay away from this. The drone crashed. I ordered new arms and the screws were in so tight the head of the screw is all messed up. The screw will not come out now. Now I have a $1000 gopro camera. I would give it zero stars, but it won't let me.Lame.

The drone broke down on first flight and it took a month for go pro to send a replacement and still didn't replace everything that was damage. The go pro camera is great the drone itself isn't worth it. Save your money.

Best drone on the market. Pros: 1. Super fast, may even be the fastest. 2. Great battery life 3. Shoots 4K up to 30fps and 1080p at 120fps. 4. Comes with lots of goodies 5. Has its own control, no stupid phone pairing!!!! 6. Very durable; crashed already and survived like a champ. 7. Amazing value! 8. Comes with the gopro karma gimbal and a go pro, you can use them in the drone or separately!!!! 9. comes with a dedicated controller, no phone pairing! 10. Modular, when they release a smaller version of the drone, buy it and use the go pro and karma you already have. New Go Pro releases? Use it and replace the hero 5 that you use on the drone! Cons: 1. Bigger than the mavik 2. No Follow Me mode, but being a specific controller that has the capabilities for it there will likely be a firmware update for it. 3. Can't think of any others :)

The worst thing I spend my money on.. got it Friday when to fly it Saturday as I was it just said karma discount a it Flew away. Had to run after it

I bought this drone and was below my expectation. Don't buy it, guys. There's a couple of reasonable drone with reasonable price.
