Great piece of equipment. The app is very good to go along with the guardzilla. The new bug fixes and adjustments are exactly what it needed. Highly recommend.

Overall great All In One Security, only downside is after updates you must uninstall and reinstall the program to update the settings. If this bug would be fixed easily 5-star rating.

I read the reviews, which were average and decided to go for it. After finally getting one setup, I couldn't log back into my wifi. So I power cycled my router and went to monitor the cameras through their app but connectivity between the camera and my phone was always lacking and the camera would just buffer. When It did work, sound only worked part of the time. Finally, out of frustration, I unplugged the cameras and let them sit for a few days, a time out if you will. After a few days, I deleted the cameras from the app and did a hard reset on the cameras, went through the setup process again and shocker, my wifi network goes haywire, ffs. I boxed them up and returned them. I will try another brand soon.

using it to keep visual on my elderly mother when i cant be there with her. it brings peace of mind to all of us and is really easy to use. I've recommended it to several people.

I bought the Guardzilla a few days ago and I love it! I have it set up where I can see two whole rooms and am able to check the live feed whenever I want. I don't have the fastest internet connection (15Mbps), but I can still get a good feed even checking on 3G on my phone. Nobody has tried to break in yet, but you better believe I'll be watching when they do!

Guardzilla is a cool idea that does nothing well and falls short to the competition. Poor video and no video clips sent to device when motion detection is triggered (just blurry pics). Setup was clunky at best but given the newness we can let that slide. What really destroyed any chance of a good review is my purchase of the Motorola camera system after this purchase. 2 cameras for $99 with a Nice app Motorola has for the cameras again like guardzilla no charge for access. So in closing the only thing you get above all the other easy to install wifi cameras which have better smoother software and cheaper equipment is a 100db audible alarm. I will be using my guardzilla when I travel but it's not worth the $100 when other options are cheaper and run smoother. So please shop around before paying best buy for this late to the party device.

For the money, it does what it's supposed to do. Easy set up. Alarm could be a little louder but overall its perfect.

after a few hickups in the beginning with the app it worked out fine in the end. I have one camera at the moment, but will buy a second one later this year.

I've bought two units. The first I installed on my iPhone 6s. It does only work when my Phone is connected to the same wi-fi where the Guardzilla is plugged. That means I cannot see the images when I'm elsewhere out of my home. The second câmera cannot be inserted to the app, because there is already one there. Althoug following all the steps, I could not install the second camera on my Iphone. Really disappointed.

For a nursing home room, this didn't work well. It depended on WIFI so we got an SD card as well. Recordings were short and would stop even if movement continued, leading to big gaps between recordings (like not showing when a person left the room--they'd just be gone from the next recording.) Live monitoring was good but would often stop without any reason, and we'd be unable to get it back up. SD card playback was the same...sketchy... short segments...incomplete movements. We had the largest card acceptable but it never filled it up--It would just stop recording on the card after a few days and need our resetting to start back.The picture was very grainy, but it was better than nothing for live monitoring. I would recommend it only if there's no other usable product available.

Great picture quality and a lot of great features. Exactly what we were looking for at a really reasonable price!!

I was shocked how bad the app for this camera is. The camera records locally if you have sd card but if you're trying to use the remote viewing on smartphone than you're going to be wasting your time because it constantly freezes and fails. I will get motion detected message and hit guardzilla app only to see it fail. I have had days where motion detection doesn't send alerts and some where it freezes the app upon opening. I am aware of motion settings and alert settings. I also have 4G service on phone I use to view app and app is updated. I also have 50mbps Internet that camera is running on so it is definitely a faulty app.

I bought a black one, model GZ502B, and it worked perfectly. The second and third ones I bought were white, model GZ501W. Neither would connect to my network even with tech support. Found a 4th one at a different Best Buy, black, model GZ521B. It connected right away but still had some issues staying connected and communicating with the app. After a couple of resets I got it to work okay. So just beware that the cameras look the same but they are not and I don't know of a way to upgrade them via software to fix some of these bugs. Also, the pictures look different. Some look normal, others look kind of squished from side to side. Overall, after I got 2 of them working, I am happy with the app, image and sound quality are very good, installation is very easy.

The 1st unit I purchased was intended as a baby monitor since it had the ability to view from anywhere. I loved the speaker function as well, really helped when peeking in. My wife and I decided to get a 2nd unit for our main floor and love it! These devices give you everything you need and then some while not spending a fortune. Another feature that is very helpful is the ability to record onto a micro-sd card, grear for when we go away!

Camera delivers as promised. Setup really did take just 5 minutes. Captures visuals (not 90-degree, so experiment with where you set up). Audio isn't sharp but it is functional. Night vision is pretty cool. Alarm is piercing (I think that's a good thing). Really like that I can control using my phone. Very happy with this as a first security purchase.

It's good to have this as a companion to your system and a great way to watch pets while away. I'd recommend unplugging it when you don't need it to avoid any potential issues -- any system is vulnerable to hacking -- but it's good peace of mind to check on a room while you're away. Not having cloud storage is a plus and the app is free. The alarm can also be disabled so it doesn't ring when motion is detected.

This is a great product for someone who wants peace of mind. It is a great way to check in on the room you have it placed

Store sales person told me I could view the camers in real-time via a web browser. WRONG. The "Guearzilla APP" (Android or Apple) is REQUIRED. This means the only way to use this camera is with a smart phone, which makes it EXTREMELY limited and impossible to use without consuming EXPENSIVE BANDWIDTH through a phone/data CELLULAR CONNECTION. The fact that you CAN NOT use this camera via the Web (URL-based) makes it TOTAL JUNK for the serious user. I was COMPLETELY MISLED by the store sales "droid" and will be returning this tomorrow on my return to the camera's location. I would have rated it ZERO STARS but that does not seem to be an option, so I reluctantly gave it "1" star.

Easy set-up, ease of App, and I feel a lot more secure about being away from home.

I got this camera not long ago and it has been so easy to use. I love the layout of the app to view the camera.
