Q: If my power goes out, will my camera work?
A: No but it will reboot in 2-4 min , invest in back up battery would be my suggestion
Q: Can I record with this camera?
A: You can record to a sd card if you have one installed. It accepts up to a 32gb card. You cannot view the recording remotely as you have to remove the card and watch the recording on a separate device.
Q: Can the siren alert feature be disabled
A: Yes the siren can be disabled. Go to settings. Select siren settings. There will be able to select on or off.
Q: How does the system notify you if activated
A: All you have to do is get the app first and it will guide you and then you can click on the monitor tab.
Q: Does this notify you on your iPhone IF some one enters the house if you are not home?
A: Yes, you will receive a notification via text, or email(your choice-Both if you want) at that time, you can open up the app and check out what's going on at the location you have it installed at.
Q: How much data does this camera use?
A: Depending on how long you stream, I can stream for a period of around 10 minutes at the highest camera quality and it only takes around a tenth of a gig
