Not their best work, but definitely a step in the right direction. I liked Death Magnetic, and Hardwired is every bit as good, maybe even better. I especially liked that on the day of release, I was able to get the deluxe edition with bonus cd for $9.99. Thank you Best Buy!

For any rock music fan especially fans of justice and master this album is a must have. Such an incredible album. Best tracks halo on fire and spit out the bone. Each track is amazing

Hardwired...To Self Destruct is a great return to form for Metallica. Highly recommended and definitely go with the three disc version (with third disc of additional and live tracks).

Some killer tracks on their new CD. "Halo On Fire" & Spit Out The Bone" are epic! "Here Comes Revenge" & "Confusion" kick some but! Not to mention the three singles released as well.

Metallica is finally back after 30 years. Best album since And Justice For All. A long time coming. Can't wait for the tour. Highly recommend to anyone who is a fan or becoming one.

Was not disappointed after the long wait. Awesome that the Deluxe was only 9.99 for 3 discs. Great buy! Back to their thrash sound with some odes to their 90's riffs here and there.

Metallica really did well with this album. It took a while, but it was well worth the wait. Some really hard sounding tunes, to go along with some good straight up hard rock tunes.

Metallica's new album, Hardwired...was 8 years in the making and does not disappoint. Some riffs and energy recall the Kill and Lightning days and there is nothing corny like Load.

This cd is first rate and best buy had it on sale for both the deluxe and regular versions. The cd is excellent and worth it and you cant get these deals online from other vendors.

Metallica is back with a vengeance! "Hardwired..." is heavy and reminiscent of classic Metallica with new updated sound. Excellent follow-up to Death Magnetic. Turn it up to 11!

This album is a culmination of the best of OLD SCHOOL Metallica, and brings them back to their Origins. Albeit there have been roster changes, it's Heavy like they used to be

This is the band that I remember....raw...powerful...with great vocals and tight playing throughout...3 discs for the price of one doesn't hurt either...a must buy for any fan!

This album is typical Metallica, hard hitting, clean, platinum producing content. If you are a fan of Metallica, or just a fan of music in general, you should buy this album.

12 tracks on 2 discs (3rd disc on deluxe edition features a few extra songs plus live performance recordings), and half of them are alright, other half pretty much suck. To clarify: There are 2 GREAT songs, Moth Into Flame and Spit Out The Bone. Fantastic tracks that shine on Metallica's career greats. 2 okay songs, Hardwired and Atlas, Rise! Hardwired, to me, sounds like a rehash of Cyanide from Death Magnetic. No originality, no inspiration, just a hard tune. Atlas Rise sounds like it belongs on And Justice For All, if it were played in that tuning. But since it isn't, it's just okay. All the others, I swear if I never listened to them again, I wouldn't mind. They don't scream Metallica to me they're just kinda there.

Strong Metallica drop, Not thrilled with the "International Version" purchased in store, Don't read Japanese. so it was hard to follow titles when listening to it on computer,

Couldn't wait for this cd to come out! Metallica never fails when it comes to their music! Picked up my deluxe version the day it came out and haven't stopped listening since!

Back to basics and it rocks! Metallica has returned to form. Just love the metal grooves of Halo on Fire! Best track in my opinion! But all songs keep me coming back for more!

I like the newer live versions, they show the aging band has still got it. Overall the album is pretty good too. I feel like it's a culmination of all of their prior works wrapped up into one, a little more on the raw side as their last couple albums have been.

Another hard rock classic from the masters of the metal genre! Get it!
