The CD itself is great. Isnt a song I didn't want to listen to. I got the three disc set that had a bunch of live stuff on disc 3 so that was even better. I highly recommend

I bought this for my husband who loves heavy metal music and it stays in the CD player constantly. He would much rather buy a CD then to download the music he is old school.

I was really excited (finally) to purchase a new Metallica CD since the songs are heard so far were amazing. Hal fto album is exciting and the other half was same old same old as far as new Metallica. I did LOVE the bonus disk especially the live older songs!

Best Metallica Music since the Black album!!! Death Magnetic was close, but Hardwired finally quenched the thirst!!! Rock on Mettallica and see you at the show!!!

Yes they're older but so am I. They still rock it out. As with any artist they have some songs that I don't care for as much but all in all I enjoy the album. It's good driving home from work music.

Death Magnetic's production was atrocious. Its great to hear this album sounding great with awesome riffs. The second part of the album is mid-tempo and a bit slower. A little boring but overall a great record. Oh...and Kirk wont let go of the wah pedal.

It's been a long 8 years since Death Magnetic but it was worth it. This sounds like old school Metallica. The 3 disc set is highly worth it. The live tracks sound great.

Metalica is the undisputed best metal band in the world and delivers in this CD. The drums and raunchy guitar work is incredible. You will be rockin to the entire CD!!!

Started loving Metallica during the time Master of Puppets was released. Still a huge fan of that album, Kill 'em All and Ride the Lightning. This album gets closer to their old material, but still isn't just quite there even though I do like most of it.

Didn't realize they had new album so I picked up this deluxe version. Three disc set is a wonderful collection of new music and live classics. Welcome back Metallica!

It is nice to see Metallica take things back to the days of Ride The Lightning and Justice For All. I good CD to get your heavy metal fix. The deluxe version has live versions of some their songs from their career so you get a feel from then til now.

This is one of the best Metallica albums in the recent years, and the deluxe version is worth it because of the bonus CD, is a must buy for any hardcore Metallica fan

It reminds me of Death Magnetic. Almost as if they had extra songs that weren't released back in 2008. But I'm sure that's not the case. Still, it's a great album.

This album sounds like old school Metallica. The guitars are fast and the drumming strong. The lyrics are great, makes you think. Best album since the Black album.

Sonically this album sounds amazing thanks to their engineer. "Moth Into Flame," "Hardwired," "Atlas, Rise!," and "Spit Out The Bone" are easily strong highlights.

Finally Metallica has released a new album. It does not disappoint. The three cd set is nicely printed as well with a full color booklet and extra songs. Rock on!

Being a Metallica fan. I wanted to hear new music. But the price was the selling point. $9.99 for the 3 disc deluxe set. When the 1 and 2 disc was the same price.

This will never compare to their albums of the mid to late 80s, but it shows that they have managed to sound wiser and more passionate than most bands as they get "older." A solid release. This is the best Metallica album in over 20 years by far.

First CD I have bought in many years. Mostly due to the fact that I paid only $5.00 for it. Great bargain. Most of the 26 songs are very good. Highly recommended.

I really like this album. While I liked their last album better in terms of the styles of the songs the production on this album is much better. Not my favorite Metallica album but still a quality release from the worlds biggest heavy metal band.
