i love metallica but a couple of there newer albums i didnt care for much , but now they are back to the start of it all and rock hard as heck

I love Metallica, so I love this album.. but it's still not as good as some of the classics that we love. I still have listened to this album multiple times and still have it loaded in the car for when the mood strikes me.

Metallica might not play as fast as they used to but they can still bring the thunder. Hard hitting metal that you would expect from Metallica!

I am really enjoying this cd. It has a good mix of the sound of several eras of the band. Best metallica release since the black album for sure

Great CD! Been buying their records since '85. It rocks. Some may think it's not heavy enough. All their albums are different. Get over it.

Metallica have put together a solid metal album here. It's a more cohesive album than Death Magnetic in my opinion. Take a chance on this one.

Ooh yeah, Metallica is back and this album will knock you down, all the songs are very well mix, so heavy and their are base on garage style.

Metallica has not released an album as good as this one in a long time. Death Magnetic was good but this one blows my mind. It's just awesome.

I must admit I was very worried about a new CD from Metallica, worried it wouldn't hold up to classic Metallica, um...big mistake, they exceeded my expectations! Thank you Metallica for delivering some of your finest!!!

I picked up this CD on sale for an early Christmas present in myself. Awesome bonus set of Metalica playing music like their earlier years.

I hate when band's change their sound and say Thier expanding as artists. There is something to be said about what is tried and true. Thankfully Metallica is back to thier old sound and it is something to behold.

Bought this album because I've been a Metallica fan for a long time. Not their best effort but it's worth a listen. Kind of a mix of old and new. They have their newer sound, but turn them into 6+ minute tracks.

The new cd is some of the bands best music in a while. The 3 cd set is terrific because it includes a lot of extras not on the regular cd.

excellent cd, worth waiting 8 years, i got the deluxe edition for Lords of Summer, great song, way better than the one released years ago.
