This is old school Metallica!!! I was wary because St Anger was such a disappointment but Hardwired is going to be on my playlist forever!

Best release from them since the Black Album. Great sound. Great songs. The 3 rd bonus CD is nice--they are a great sounding live band.

This is a great album. I bought the deluxe edition (3 disc set) that has some extra new tracks and some older live songs. Well worth it.

This rocks!!!!! going back to Garage days, Ride the lightning, etc...but an original in its own. If you love Metallica you'll love this!

This album is amazing! My only gripe is that it's 2 discs. With 12 songs, I really wish it was 1 disc. But the music itself is amazing!

Most of the songs I liked. The first track is only OK for me, I would have liked it better without lyrics, but overall a good album.

A new Metallica album is a no-brainier purchase. Gotta have it. Adding a bonus disc for the same price guarantees I get it at Best Buy.

I waited eight years since Death Magnetic to hear new material from this band. While I had to take away a star since this didn't have to be a double album, it is easily one of the best albums released this year.

Overall a very good album. Lot of great new music from a legendary band. Bonus disc also has good selection of songs and live tracks.

Sounds very much like Death Magnetic, which is ok with me because I love that album. There are some songs that remind me of there first few albums but most are in the vein of DM. Overall good double cd set.

Haven't heard a good Metallica album in quite a while. I am really enjoying the deluxe version with a 3rd bonus disc. Rockin it out!

This album is awesome and worth the rate. There are a couple songs that are very average, but the others more than make up for them.

Fans of 'pre-black album' Metallica may hear some definite similarities that harken back to Master, Ride the Lightning or Justice... compared to Metallica's last few efforts, this album has much more to offer.

A return to a harder sounding Metallica. The music is reminiscent of their older albums. Has some really strong songs. Worth a listen

Great album and has a classic metallica sound. Some of the songs remind me of Load and Reload. Glad to see metallica back in form!

This cd will be a great addition to any Metallica fans collection. It is one of the better releases from the band in recent years.

this is def one of their top albums. also the added bonus tracks are great. even if your not a fan give it a listen and you will be!

Have waited years for a new album!! Was well worth the wait!! Just as good if not better than Death Magnetic!! Does not disappoint!
