WELCOME BACK - METALLICA! This CD set is awesome and certainly resonates the Metallica I had historically listened to and worked out too.I rarely buy CDs any longer, but this set was totally worth it. Great album, great to workout to.

Holy craps! After the tragedy that was St Anger, Death Magnetic was a solid effort, but this is magnificent! Solid leads, great rhythm, awesome bass. Lars needs to go back to school, but it's all good. Love this album, keep it up!!

Metallica went through a lot of changes over the years, as they should. over the years I started to agree with some of the hard core fans & thought that they have changed too much but with this album Metallica is back for sure!!!

I wasn't really sure if Metallica still had it. They lost their touch on Re-Load and St. Anger but this album......I was really happy because it seems like they regained the edge that made them famous when they first started out.

This is an excellent album. For guys that are in their 50's now, this album rocks. I thought Death Magnetic was a return to form, but this one is even better. I highly recommend getting the 3 CD set with the bonus live material.

This is a 2 CD album and it has a bonus CD with live tracks! I haven't heard the 2nd CD because im in love with the first CD. I heard the live CD and that one is great too. Can't wait to hear the second CD, but im taking my time

This new CD from Metallica is the best work they have done in years! From the moment this album start, it will grab you and not let go! If you have been disappointed in Metallica in recent years, buy this one and give it a try.

The wait was worth it. The follow-up to Metallica's previous effort (Death Magnetic) is another amazing entry to their discography. From epic thrashers to concise headbangers, Hardwired is an essential album for any metalhead!

I can´t believe how rock is dead thanks to pop music and similar since the late 90's. It is time for rock to rise again and after lackluster albums; Metallica delivers with a new one! Hope this helps good music be alive again!

Hardwired ... to Self-Destruct was worth the wait. The songs on the two disks long and solid. It's hard to pick a favorite. The bonus disk of live material is a great addition to the set. I'm glad that I got the Deluxe edition. If there is one downside, at least for me, it would be the cover art which is somewhat disturbing.

I was very impressed with this project from this band. I have all of their studio projects as well as one live project. I can hear elements of all of the stages of their career in this package. If you like metal--get it.

Thrashing their way back into our speakers, Metallica is back with their new album and it sounds like their old albums from the 80s. Highly recommend picking up the deluxe edition (3 disc) with an additional 14 tracks!

It'a been so long since we had a good thrash album from Metallica. Death Magnetic was a start to the road back. Hardwired.... To Self Destruct finds the band firing on all cylinders. Get this album. You NEED this album.

great album from start to finish, picked this up on a $6.99 sale for 3 discs!! Can't beat that, if it comes back on sale, pick it up. Many great singles and a live cd and is there best album in a really long time!

I would recommend this album to any Metallica fan. It has old school and new school Metallica flares mixed into 12 new songs. I haven't stopped listening to it since I got it. Its nice to know Metallica still rocks!!!!

Buy this album, Metallica is back! Death Magnetic was a move in the right direction, but this album got it exactly right. Perfect return to form. I recommend this to any fan or the rock/metal genre. You will enjoy it!

I have every Metallica album ever released. Interesting to see the changes in their music over the years and I prefer the old school sound personally. They are still a great band and will continue to buy their music.

Awesome new album from Metallica.... I'm a die hard fan and I must say this has got to be one of their best albums.. I love every album they've ever released and this one is just another classic.. Must buy for sure..

This is an excellent follow up to Death Magnetic, which I liked a tad more. The production on this new release is top notch too. Now That We're Dead, Moth Into Flame, Confusion, and Spit Out the Bone are highlights.

Album is really good, the sound of the songs are a mix of kill em all, ride, justice, etc. and songs sound as if they would fit into older albums. Instrumentally sound, James vocals are the best he has ever sounded.
