However, some customers noted that the speaker's size and weight are significant drawbacks, and a few experienced issues with Bluetooth connectivity. The price point was also a source of some negative feedback.

OK, so I was trying to decide between this and Amazon's home systems. This speaker not only sounds great but the assistant is learning to control most smart things in my home. It's so nice to walk in the door and tell Google I'm home and everything gets adjusted to the way I like it.

I am still yet to unlock all the uses and features, but the luxury to just ask for music, adjust its volume, check weather, news and more is really cool. It's a time saver and fun, recognizes my voice and rarely ever makes mistakes.

Holy cow it's loud.....They discontinued these but that's just because Google needs to rebrand all of their stuff as "Google Nest". This is still a great speaker and if you can get it at half off then it's worth it!

Awesome speakers! If you got the money get 2 that way you have stereoscopic sound reverberating thru your house! You can broadcast as well since it’s a google product to other rooms announcing dinner, etc.

No real bad things to say about it. I have both this and the Sonos 5 and I go back and forth as to if this sounds as good as the Sonos 5. It definitely doesn't sound better, IMO, but at best, it sounds as good. But with the killer integrated voice control, it kills the Sonos 5.

The sound is great and when you pair two of them for stereo it's just amazing. However the recognition of Hey Google is kinda poor... especially when you tell it to "Shut up google" ... continues talking on and on disturbing you. +++ for sound --- for google assistant on this one

Excellent sound quality with Google Assistant features built in. Works great in a Google Home speaker group system to provide a full range sound quality to any size space.

This is mostly a great speaker. Quality is very good, more than enough power, all the google services as any smart speaker, which I love. However, there is a problem with latency on the aux input that makes it impossible to use for watching video with this function. So far, that is the only disappointment.

No idea if Google payed all these people to review it bc fir 300 it sucks. My Amazon echo.plus has better sound than this thing. The sound is good, if you play it at about half volume. Someone said enough bass to shake ur walls. How thin are your walls! Are they made out of cardboard or printer paper? Anyway, anything at 2/3s volume or above and the speaker starts to crackle. Now u would think that u would never need it at full volume bc it should be loud enough at 2/3s and maybe you typically keep ur volume at a 2 and so that's great. If you like loud, great sound, save urself the money. If you want a boujiee toy, there's better ones out there that look cooler and sound better. If you're over 50, you'll probably love it.

Absolutely love the Home Max. The Google Home function I feel is superior to the Echo and the sound quality of the max is right up there with the Sonos 5

the sound quality is great. I wish this worked as a soundbar as well. unfortunately, the aux input is not an option for me considering that you would have to control two different volumes. other than this, the max is great.

Google did an excellent job with this device for streaming music. The audio quality is very good and a wide response range. Setting up a speaker group with other home devices allows you to stream sync music in every room.

This Smart Speaker rocks. Purchased for 80+ year old mother in-law who doesn't see to well to make her life a little. Connected to Nest Thermostat and other smart switches. A bit pricey yet well worth it. Mother in-law loves it.

Great sounding speaker, wish google didn't discontinue these or replace these with another Hifi speaker. The new Nest Hub Max is not nearly as good sounding as this.
