The Geek squad techs took out the defective Denon receiver, and replaced it with a new Denon receiver. They reconnected all periferal devices, which include a record player, CD player, DVD player, cassette player, and my Sony tv. They adjusted picture and sound to my satisfaction, did it efficiently, and were gone in less than an hour. I am very pleased with the result. Their good attitude and teamwork reflect well on Geek squad.

The agents came out to help with technical issues with one of our streaming services that wouldn't work. Took a lot of time and several trips plus escalation up the technical ladder but overall they were very responsive, knowledgeable and persistent in working the problem. There are still some minor issues that appear to be the result of some incompatibility between newer and older components but overall they did a great job and solved the problem

We have had a recurring issue with our sound bar for a year since we bought. The source would keep alternating through all of the options and eventually settle on e-Arc, as it should. Finally, after three Geek Squad visits, the tech figured out it was one of the pins on the HDMI cable. He fixed it and it has not given us trouble since.

The agent checked all connections of all our devices. TV streaming and cd played were turning off and on by itself. He spent much time going thru the tv checking and adjusting whatever he had to do. So far everthing is working fine. He had alot of patience figuring out the solution. Thank you.

My Geek Squad technician, Moussa, was truly amazing. I had various techs trouble shoot my issue, but he was the one to figure it out. He was thorough and systematic and his solution solved my problem. Moussa worked with my schedule which was much appreciated. I now have a working system due to his diligence. He is professional and an amazing representative of Best Buy. I can’t say enough good things about his assistance.

I've had two troubleshooting experiences in the past months and both resulted in positive outcomes. In November I took my printer in for a check on the cartridges I was using and got info on how to contact HP for replacement parts. In December, Geek Squad came to troubleshoot my home theatre and they fixed my DVD player and the Marantz receiver. They also updated the receiver and the TV and showed me how to DIY. I'm 75 and not very tech savvy, and those two men were so patient and polite (and followed the COVID-19 guidelines to a T). In isolation, my best friend is my telly, so I was thrilled by their expertise. They were outstanding! Thanks Best Buy Geek Squad.

Even though several people cautioned me against buying appliances from Best Buy due to their extremely bad service, I went ahead and purchased a $3500 café oven. The installation crew was unprofessional and didn’t seem to know exactly what they were doing. After a week I started smelling gas. I called customer service, but unfortunately most agents speak very poor English and I had to abandon the call multiple times to get to someone who can understand what the issue is because they kept telling me that I must contact the manufacturer for any issues. After giving up dealing with the customer service agents, I went to the store in Downers Grove, Illinois to spoke with one of the managers (Kamil), but he told me that since I did not purchase the extended support plan from Best Buy I must contact the manufacturers. I tried multiple times to explain to him that the issue is with the installation not the product, unfortunately he decided that this conversation was over and walked away. I asked him to give me the store managers name and he refused and simply said just contact our 800 customer service number again. I contacted customer service and after multiple attempts they agreed to send the installation crew one more time to check the gas leak. Unfortunately the crew came out and did a two minute check and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the installation and it is definitely a manufacture defect with the product. I called GE and they sent the technician of which he did a very simple
Test and found out that the flex pipe was not installed properly and there were bubbles visible when he sprayed liquid on the connection. I have to call Best Buy again and asked to schedule another service for them to come out and change the connections. During this two month period of back-and-forth the gas was leaking throughout my house and I had to frequently open the windows in the kitchen. This is absolutely the worst customer service ever, I strongly caution anyone from ever buying any products from Best Buy. I should have listened to the advice of my friends and bought the oven from ABT. Please think seriously before buying any appliances or items from Best Buy. Very bad customer service in the store and on the phone. Stay away!!!!

Came to fix our remote and sound bar! No one should be without the Geek Squad service. They answer all your questions and help you with any problem you have. I have All my appliances and iPad and computer with the Geek Squad. It’s been great to have someone that you can call and they walk you through whatever you need plus if things can not be fixed over the phone the will come to your home. It’s a wonderful service to have.

Tech arrived at 11:00 AM, when in fact I had been informed by text that the window was 3:00 - 7:00 PM. No call from Tech advising. that he was on his way and would arrive shortly.
Tech was here all of 10 minutes to "fix" the problem. Said that service call should have been "set up redo" rather than troubleshoot for which I was charged $129.95! Problem reappeared five weeks later.

As always, Best Buy delivered with exceptional service My new speaker was connected with the rest of the system, and all work together harmoniously, delivering excellent quality.
The technician also disconnected all that needed to be disconnected with the cable TV service I was no longer using.

My bluetooth headphones had become unpaired with my TV. Jonathan, from Geek Squad, came over and determined that my TV had gotten stuck in the middle of an update. He fixed that problem, made sure the headphones and TV were working properly and optimally, and was gone in less than 20 minutes. Thanks, Jonathan! Thanks, Geek Squad! Great service!

My tv just stopped streaming Xfinity one day. Tried to get ahold of Xfinity but couldn't. The "chat robot" was NO help. Geek Squad came out and knew what was wrong almost immediately and fixed it. He was very nice and professional. I would use Geek Squad every time over any other tech support services. Highly recommend.

The Geek Squad technician was wonderful! He was one smart guy and fixed my problem in minutes. I was embarrassed when I learned the nature of the problem. It was a simple issue that most tech savvy folks would have handled. But the technician was kind and respectful and didn't make me feel stupid. He was a blessing! Thank goodness for Geek Squad!

Our modem was not compatible with our smart TV to allow steaming. Our smart TV was not allowing updates to streaming services. Geek Squad corrected these problems when no one else was able to.

I have had multiple agents attempt to repair a problem with my Sony 65” Bravia TV. They exhausted all options available to restore my tv to working again. The problem was with the Geek Squad Call Center. I purchased an extended 5 year warranty. TV “died” in 4th year. Reported problem to call center. It took 5 weeks to get a replacement through my warranty. I had no tv so after the 1st week I had to PURCHASE a tv 75” Sony Bravia. My son installed it as I was just out of the hospital from complete reverse shoulder replacement and was confined to my home. Needless to say, I am VERY DISSATISFIED with Geek Squad call center as they did not document my calls properly which extended the time for my replacement tv under warranty. I have been a Best Buy customer for 20+ years and Total Tech customer. Call center reps are not trained properly to follow through with documentation. There isn’t enough space here to document all my conversations, and frustration interacting with your call center. Again, I want to reiterate that the agents that were sent to my home diagnosed the issue with my tv and tried to fix it, but the tv was beyond repair. They were professional and caring!

We have been using Best Buy and their Installers since 1993. Every once a while human error happens, but they are very quick to apologize, fix and or replace item. Recently I had new security system with 16 cameras installed. Braxton and his team, worked very hard, with almost zero breaks, on multiple occasions. They were always Very professional, and if he didnt know an answer he was very forthright about it, but would find out from other subject matter experts from Best Buy staff or call the company directly. Several times, he was able to call another team, and get help even though they hadThere were other things they installed as well, and no matter how tedious the question or request they were on it. Multiple times Braxton came alone, despite being multiple person jobs, and work very hard. The store managers Ana and Ryan were very helpful and quick to respond to our needs.
