The Geek Squad technician was worth every penny.

He also recommended a new sound bar. I am waiting to fully implement his suggestions to better evaluate need but will be replacing the wrong sound cable with a new, correct one and studying need for a new sound box..

Worst installation and Customer Service EVER!!!!
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Even though several people cautioned me against buying appliances from Best Buy due to their extremely bad service, I went ahead and purchased a $3500 café oven. The installation crew was unprofessional and didn’t seem to know exactly what they were doing. After a week I started smelling gas. I called customer service, but unfortunately most agents speak very poor English and I had to abandon the call multiple times to get to someone who can understand what the issue is because they kept telling me that I must contact the manufacturer for any issues. After giving up dealing with the customer service agents, I went to the store in Downers Grove, Illinois to spoke with one of the managers (Kamil), but he told me that since I did not purchase the extended support plan from Best Buy I must contact the manufacturers. I tried multiple times to explain to him that the issue is with the installation not the product, unfortunately he decided that this conversation was over and walked away. I asked him to give me the store managers name and he refused and simply said just contact our 800 customer service number again. I contacted customer service and after multiple attempts they agreed to send the installation crew one more time to check the gas leak. Unfortunately the crew came out and did a two minute check and said there is absolutely nothing wrong with the installation and it is definitely a manufacture defect with the product. I called GE and they sent the technician of which he did a very simple Test and found out that the flex pipe was not installed properly and there were bubbles visible when he sprayed liquid on the connection. I have to call Best Buy again and asked to schedule another service for them to come out and change the connections. During this two month period of back-and-forth the gas was leaking throughout my house and I had to frequently open the windows in the kitchen. This is absolutely the worst customer service ever, I strongly caution anyone from ever buying any products from Best Buy. I should have listened to the advice of my friends and bought the oven from ABT. Please think seriously before buying any appliances or items from Best Buy. Very bad customer service in the store and on the phone. Stay away!!!!

Geek Squad Installed Soundbar

Only a skilled pro could have gotten it done. And he did.

They were extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and adept at their jobs. Kudos for them, and on a previous order, Jason K. had come out to work on a previous work order for a different TV in my home. He was also very extremely courteous, knowledgeable, and accomplished in his job. Kudos to all of them! You have some wonderful employees representing Best Buy Geek Squad!!! Thank You!!!

Fixed sound system

Call for assistance discovered system was incorrectly reinstalled by flooring installers. Agent discovered problem and fixed it in minimal timing. Much appreciated!

Greek Squad sold and installed TV

Needed to call the Geek Squad.

I had to call the Geek Squad. One came over to activate my wi-fi (which I thought was on, but wasn't) and hook me up to PC radio. He also connected to some of my favorate stations. I bought the receiver in part because it included PC radio. The Geek Squad person was skillful, patient and gave good direction. I am a full Geek Squad member, but do not know my number.

Samsung TV and Vizio Sounds Bar

Apparently when we purchased the surround sound, we were not advised to purchase a Samsung to match our tv and as upgrades Halen for the tv, the sound bar will not cooperate.

Geek squad rocks!!!

It is nice only having.one remote instead of 3 remotes. They also hooked up my new lg tv to my new receiver and speakers. Everything works great. The sound is unbelievable!!!

Our smart TV was not allowing updates to streaming services. Geek Squad corrected these problems when no one else was able to.

Dan and Scott are the best in the business

Not just because they are very professional (on time etc.) and respectful, but because of the knowledge. Dan Kostrzewa could teach a class every tv and related product on the market. Plus, he knows how to mix and match what I need to have upgraded with what I already have in order to maximize functionality and not allow for updates without stranded assets. This results in more sales for the company. He assesses the need and makes excellent recommendations and handles it from there. As a result, I only buy my TVs and related equipment from Best Buy, because he is easy to deal with, solves whatever problem I have and "makes it so." These guys are your best sales people as well as doing install!
