Hoelscher system

We had had an home theatre system installed but it never worked the way it was supposed to. Finally Andre and Anthony fro Magnolia came out and were able to troubleshoot the problem. Andre ultimately came out to do the “work” required and we could not be more pleased. It’s nice to finally be able to operate our system.

YES for Total Tech

There was no reason for my anxiety - I was extremely pleased, The young woman who helped me on the phone understood my issues much more clearly than I expected from my garbled explanation. The lead technician, Frank, and his assistant Jason were terrific. Frank called me in advance to let me know his planned time window to arrive and then again when he was 20 minutes out. As he worked on remote pairing with the TV he explained all, answered my many questions, made suggestions about more efficient memory usage. He gave me time to try many things and helped me understand. He was very patient, and helpful without being condescending. Frank and Jason were both friendly, courteous and professional throughout the visit. They are excellent representatives of your company and service. The woman on the phone (so sorry that I did not save her name) and Frank and Jason make me happy that I went "total tech".

The Right Mount

They did such a good job I'm planning on having them to remount a 85" tv done by someone else that I'm not happy with. I know the Squad can get exactly where I want it.

What a rip-off!

I couldn't get the surround speakers to work at anything above a very low volume. Two guys came out and did obvious things like check the connections. I asked them how they get training on so many different manufacturers and products, and they said they don't; they try to figure it out. They ended up telling me that's just how my system is supposed to work. The "new" systems play a very low volume from the speakers- like a crowd in the background at a football game. That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. They said that was it, and they left. I was playing around with the TV yesterday and found out how to direct the audio output to the surround system. Now it actually has sound! What a rip-off the Geek Squad is!

Didn’t waste our time upon completion by lingering about to tell “war stories”. Will definitely call on Geek Squad when in need of true professionals

Geek Squad are the baby-boomers' tech heroes!

We had two TVs here: one needed connect to wifi the other had a glitch setting so streaming service quit working. Both FIXED perfectly!

I didn't see the note to prepare for their visit so I didn't have the remote ready. I was pleased that they knew what they were doing. I am 82 so a little overwhelmed with current technology.

Other Geek Squad techs who have been here so many times since I bought the TV six months ago, couldn't connect them.David was determined and worked hard and succeeded! He should be rewarded by the company for his expertise and work ethic.

AV receiver malfunction due to needed software.

Within minutes a correct diagnosis was determined. The receiver needed a software update which was installed immediately. Squad tech and assistant were also in time. Great job.

Improvement over the last representative

They demonstrated the basics of using my television and the associated applications. They explained clearly that not all channels offer Ultra High Def options, but told me some of the ones that did. They also showed me how to use the internet browser on my smart TV. They were far better than the first young man who installed the TV, Charles. His Partner, Nathan, would have done better alone. I would rather have had him. He tried to be polite and helpful, but Charles would not allow him. Charles was abusive to Nathan, mocked me in my own home, was condescending and rude, offered an insincere and insulting "apology" when told that he was deeply upsetting me. In the end, his behavior caused me to have a stroke from anxiety and upset.

Successful Home Diagnostic!

We had to purchase a Wifi dongle from Directv at our cost and personally install it.

Reinstalled software for new printer.

The representative who came to my home was extremely knowledgeable and knew what he was doing.

They reset my television, reprogrammed my remote, and calibrated my sound system. I messed it all up and they fixed it pronto! They also tutored me on how to fix it if I break it again lol!
