The original set up of the 75" Sony TV was fine done by a sub contractor, but the Sony sound bar wasn't right. This was corrected by the Geek Squad.

The agents were on time and pleasant but never fixed the issues that we were having though they spent quite a bit of time here. Also I was told they only handled TV sets and equipment not computers or printers. Hmmm that didn't seem to be a problem with the men who installed our system from the beginning. Still having the same problems so an unfortunate waste of time.

Unable to use voice activation

I requested a tech to come out and configure my voice activation (Alexa & Google assistant) for our LG OLED 55 inch TV. When it was initially set up the technician spent 2+ hours trying to get the voice activation to control the TV and additional audio components. In the end he wasn't able to get everything working. He said it wasn't his area of expertise. The technician that showed up made a couple of modifications which improved some functions, but he said I needed a different cable. I was very disappointed that he didn't have it with him. He also said that voice activation wasn't very good at controlling TVs. I bought the TV with recommendations from the that it would work with my voice assistance. I am in a wheelchair and that was the main reason for buying that TV. I would like another technician to come out with the right cable and configure the voice activation.

Strongly suggest avoiding BestBuy for any kind of home theatre set up. We spent several thousand dollars. The equipment got set up by BestBuy and then stopped working. We were sold an Apple TV which was slow and VERY klunky ( save your $) and eventually stopped working after 4 months. We the had to PAY to have someone come back out because we were getting no sound at all except for the TV sound. They got the sound working again but eliminated the on screen programming for the receiver ( technician told us it was an “upgrade”) and while we are getting sound again from all speakers, we are not getting surround sound.
No help, no support. The salesmen who was so happy to take our multi thousand order can’t be bothered to return calls. This has been a savagely bad customer service experience and the system has worked as designed about 50% of the time since we bought it. Go to a local store which can provide some meaningful service. Beware!!
