    Couldn’t find the problem.

    Couldn’t find the problem, so assumed my equipment was bad. Recommended I buy new equipment (which I foolishly did). That helped, but didn’t solve the problem. Still have a problem and I’m not sure that they helped at all. Spent $750 total and the problem persists. I’m pretty sure my original equipment still works, they just diagnosed wrong.

    Did not solve the problem and gave completely different problrm diagnosis as the first visit which is now required a third troubleshooting onsite scheduled repair visit

    Samsung smart tv remote

    I got no real answers to my question about my Samsung Smart TV remote control. It's solar, yet sun or lamp does not charge it at all. What am I supposed to do about it. Isn't there a warranty???

    Was no help....will be cancelling my membership. The Geek Squad, the store (and manager) were no help. I had to take on the fix myself, which I did with the the manufacturer of the equipment.

    The agents never came. Notified me they weren’t coming 11/2 hrs after the four hour window I sat here waiting. I got the feeling that helping an elderly woman get the Roku working was not worth their time.

    Was a complete cluster trying to get the tv to work, had the geek squad come out and they told us what to do and it was two days of complete failure, even went to the store and couldn’t get anything accomplished.

    Although when I signed up I was promised an appointment within 48 hours, you would not set an appointment for at least two weeks and that was without a firm date! Horrible misleading process. Refund my money!! What a scam!

    The tech that arrived was a very nice person, but he did not know how to fix my issue that I called. My suggestion is that you should only send experience folks will understand home theater equipment in detail.

    We prepaid for our troubleshooting service. The receipt has no comments which we need to send to our insurance company. We have called three times with a promise of a call back within a specified amount of time. We have yet to receive a call back. The wait time on the phone is over 2 hours. This is totally unacceptable customer service.

    Trouble shooting service appt

    Have no review to give as nothing has been done.Paid out 200 for service plan at suggestion of store and waiting u ntil the 9th of March for the appointment.Hope it will result in getting things fixed on the sound problem.Will review after I have the appt.

    Lousy. Finally chatted with someone who gave me terrible advice— said I had to go to a store for help. I finally figured out the problem and fixed it. My prior uses of geek squad were great.

    What happened to Best Buy Geek Squad Customer Serv

    What happened to the Best Buy Geek Squad customer service. The Geek Squad home appointment was cancelled during the appointment time by an automated email. Then, I had to get online and fight my way to rescheduling.

    Last year they couldn’t diagnose the issues with my PC overheating. I had to take it somewhere else. This year, they canceled my appointment to check my TV but gave me a price to fix it. No thanks

    Needed a technician to evaluate tv repair They sent a non-technician that couldn’t actually verify the problem more than I did by watching YouTube. Needed either a new power board or motherboard...not just pushing buttons on a remote.

    The very next day the TV stopped working. The problem is not the technician but the Visio TV is poor quality which I was unaware of when purchased. Best Buy is not living up to their commitment.

    Geek Squad did not connect my tv to the internet

    Geek Squad come to my home to connect my TV to the internet. Person did not have a computer, I loaned him mine but he said it was too old to work and left. Now my TV does not turn on and off automatically -- I have to do this manually.

    First guy didn’t show up Second rescheduled appointment didn’t do anything to fix the issue. Waste of two days
