    Roku installation and update of interface with TV

    Kasey was the great technician who installed my Roku. ( I was unable to step up above my fireplace and get behind the TV set to do the installation myself) Kasey patiently showed me a whole new set of things I didn't know about my smart TV and how to navigate more quickly and easily between the apps and switching over to Roku easily! Should I need any additional tech services or trouble shooting, I will most definitely request Kasey --- he's the BEST of the technician I've come across so far using Geek Squad services.

    Our WiFi had been very unreliable with various devices disconnecting frequently. The tech troubleshooted the issue immediately and provided reasonable, cost effective options. We now have a great setup that hasn’t failed us yet!

    Love the upgrades that Denon has done to its receivers. My 15 year old Denon finally died and Lawerence suggested the modern version. Soooo much easier to use and already comes Bluetooth ready. Love it

    In-home service team has been great. Lead time to get them in (55 miles from store, rural area) is insane. Had to wait minimum of 30 days from order on every occasion. Not impressed with the level of product knowledge or problem-solving abilities of the phone-based Geek Squad, however. Excessive transfers to other people, inaccurate transfers, repetitive requests on each transfer for the basic verification, long wait times, etc, until I could finally reach someone who could work through the issues with me.

    I had tried tech support on-line to solve problem, but not successful. Tech support came to home and took care of the problem. Very efficient and knowledgeable.

    New Firestick installed--and completely set up

    The home theater tech came and replaced my Firestick in a hard-to-reach location with one that I purchased at BB the day before. He then methodically went through all the set-up steps so that it was fully functioning when he left. In principle I could have done this myself, but I appreciate having this and other related work done by expert techs who do this all the time. That's why I renewed my TotalTech subscription after this service visit.

    Got wrong laptop charger

    I left my Lenovo Yoga 910 for repair because the charging port stopped working, in the end the device was not reparable, I guess it's too old and they couldn't find the parts for it, which is totally fine. I understand that part. The issues are: Problem 1: when I went to pick it up, the Geek Squad staff was going to hand just the laptop without its charger. If I hadn't "reminded" him to give back the charger he wouldn't have given it back to me. Problem 2: The charger I got back was NOT the charger that originally came with the laptop, but I only noticed it after I got back home. I got a bulkier charger. Why can't they keep the laptop and its charger together, they clearly labeled the laptop before shipping it for repair, but probably the charger was not labeled. I'm the one that has to keep track of that? No. Can't they put everything inside a box or something to make sure accessories don't go missing? I'm not going back to Best Buy so they can try to find the correct charger. Waste of time. PS: The correct charger should have been the one with the white background. (right side)

    Geek Squad repair

    My internet extendor stopped working and Geek squad came out to repair it. They installed a Eero extendor which works much better. Expensive ($350.00) but worth it and has not failed me yet. Great service, fast, and quality.

    Fantastic! Bought a tv and speakers for my mom. Had some issues with install. Enrolled in the annual Geek Squad and everything is perfect. Highly recommend!
