    In one word, Abysmal. I've had two separate issues in the past week and spent days going in circles. First, I paid for a TV but when I went to pick it up, they said it couldn't safely be positioned, so I didn't take it home. It was marked as picked up. I was told after 7 days it would be returned automatically. I did not go back for it. The return did not occur. I didn't want to drive 30 minutes to the store, so I tried calling, but you can't get the store directly. After 2 days of back and forth, I finally found out I could email the store and only then were they able to process the return. Apparently the call center has no way of directly contacting the store directly, to verify the product was not actually picked up, which is absurd. Second, for the TV I wound up ordering after the above, it was supposed to be delivered between 2pm and 6pm today. At 6, I called to find out what was going on and the call center person said he wasn't sure but it wouldn't be delivered today and I had to call back tomorrow. Well, an hour and a half later, I get a call from Best Buy saying the delivery driver was at my place. I was down the street at the grocery store and told them I could be home in 5 minutes. They said ok and they would let the driver home. After rushing home and making it within 5 minutes, there was nobody there!!! So, I called Best Buy. I spoke with a call center person, who gave me a number to call. That number got me back to another call center person, who said they would need to get me a superviser. Once transferred, I wound up back at another regular call center person, who said they'd need to get me to home theater. After holding for home theater, I got to the option for a call back. I entered my number and it said 10 minutes to get a call back. I got a call back... from a regular call center person yet again. They said they would need to look at my order yet again and put me on hold. I just got hung up on. This is how my recent experiences with Best Buy customer service have been so far. You can count me out for all future business!!!

    Manny was my trouble shooter and he was awesome!! He was polite and had a great personality. I also really appreciated the fact that he wore shoe covers. Thanks again Manny!

    Geek Squad Complex Remote Fixed

    The geek squad did a small job with flying colors. They fixed things so I can use my complicated remote again for my Receiver, Speakers, Woofer, TV, and BluRay.

    Terrible Customer Service by Mangager (Josh)

    I want to start off by saying that I never had issues with Best Buy until now. Most of the employees are incredibly nice and helpful. I am about to go into college, and so it was time for me to buy a laptop. Josh, the electronic manager at Eastgate Best Buy showed us some of the models that were in stock. We ended up buying an open box computer with was said to be in excellent condition and that it came with a one year warranty through Lenovo. Once I got home and started using it, I realized that the warranty was long started and the antivirus trial had expired. When we called Lenovo, they told us that they cannot extend the warranty from the date of purchase. There was also a technical issue with the touch screen and the mouse was not working. At this point, my parents and I were a bit frustrated, but not entirely mad. The next day, we went to Best Buy to return the laptop and addressed the issue. We couldn't replace the computer with a new one, because it was against policies. As a teenager who works in customer service, I know that there is only so much that be done. What I do not understand, is the disrespect that was later to come. When I asked him if I can factory reset the laptop, Josh gave me a snarky comment. He said that he isn't going to hack me and that we can sue him and try to take his car and house if we want. In NO WAY was my intention to doubt his integrity. I would have just like to factory reset for my satisfaction. Aside from that, Josh also said that we were giving him "attitude". This left me puzzled as I didn't raise my voice nor said anything that wasn't honest. Josh spoke rudely to my mother, who was slowly trying to address the issue. The patronizing way in which he flaunted his experience is no way to treat anyone, let alone a customer. To end this, I want to say that I don't hate Best Buy; however, one bad apple can ruin the batch. Thank you
