A Week of Frustration with No Resolution
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.My laptop imploded and I needed a replacement in a hurry. I found what seemed to be the perfect laptop and bundle pack available at Best Buy. I placed the order online, picked up the laptop an hour later and was thrilled with the purchase. Or at least until the tech problems started. Dell tech support declared the new laptop defective. I ordered another one online, but this time, it was only available at a Best Buy 45 minutes away. Fine. I drove the 45 minutes, returned the defective laptop and waited for the new one to be ready. I waited. And waited. And waited. After 3 hours of killing time in the area, waiting to be notified that my purchase was ready for pick-up, I was informed that it wasn’t available. This begs the question as to why my order was taken and confirmed and I was told at the store that I should stay close by because it would be brought out shortly. After speaking with a manager who confirmed that there was no laptop in stock much less ready for me, he told me they could switch my order to free delivery and that I would get it the next day. Three days later, no laptop. The online order tracking said, “delayed”. Best Buy will not allow you to contact a store by phone. You must physically walk into the store. (Very strange in a time of COVID) not wanting to drive 45 minutes to the store again, I was left to speak to a national call center. No help. Meanwhile it appeared as though I could start over and order a new one online and pick it up at any one of a number of nearby stores. Instead, I decided to wait it out. My reward? Best Buy cancelled my order. No reason given. Just cancelled it. I ordered the laptop directly from Dell. Dealing with Best Buy was nothing but unnecessary torture and strife. Good luck, Best Buy. You’re going to need it if you keep treating your customers this way. Never EVER again.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Had a tech come to see what the problem was with the original Smasung 75" tv. they basically said it was the power board, but they did not perform any test or anything. they informed us that it would be better just to buy a new tv dur ti the cost of repair and there was no guarantee that the power board was the issue.
