    No Worse Customer Service In The Country

    Best Buy has, by far, the worst customer service I've ever experienced in my life. Without mentioning the drawn out issue I had over a year ago regarding the purchase of a refrigerator, I've dealt with over 10 incompetent employees who lack any semblance of customer service or accountability. Over the past two days, I've spoken with employees who either hang up on me while I'm on hold or transfer me telling me that they're unable to assist me but they'll get me to someone who can. Eleven transfers and over three hours of being on the phone later, my *very simple* request is still not resolved. Employees have no integrity and simply want to pass customers off to the next person and let that person deal with the request rather than owning the issue. The sad part is, these 11 employees not only include front-line agents but supervisors and a corporate office switchboard operator as well. Every single one of them has been absolutely terrible and, at some points, argumentative and feel that it's acceptable to talk over a customer. The one-star rating I've given here is far too high for the abhorrent customer service I've received so far. It's obvious that Best Buy needs a company-wide customer service training week.

    Never going to bestbuy again

    I purchased a open box dell laptop running window 10. It has random flickering cursor issue and does not upgrade to windows 11. There were some errors in log while trying to upgrade. When I purchased, I was told that it was fully tested and perform not difference than the brand new. The only thing that the techs can do is recommend exchange the laptop. They cannot do any debugging, try to fix even if I told them to take 1-2 weeks. Now the exchange guy is going to recommend you any other laptop without knowing what are the features you must have. That guy's recommended laptop was lower end in most of the resources. For that, he is going to charge you the difference in price. That is all your option if you don't agree, leave the laptop, take your money back and go. The open box is slightly economical but that does not mean you take it and if there are issues just return it. I see the serious quality/reliability issue with best buy. They are wasting your time/money. I don't know what their "thoroughly tested" standard means, the errors are right there in the eventlog which doesn't require a tech savvy to figure out. They took this as an opportunity to up sale their another laptop of their choice.
