    Worst. Buy. Ever. It has been 48 hours since the frustration first began and it still feels fresh. On Saturday we were expecting our newly purchased appliances to be delivered…and, instead, it was, by far the most horrific retail and customer service experiences I have had in my 45 years. The “team” that showed up at our home in a Penske truck (with no ramp) did not come with our refrigerator (it was too tall for the vehicle) but came with a very damaged stove and a damaged dishwasher that they could not install (although I had asked for that additional charge). They were in the back of their vehicle for at least 30 minutes trying to get the appliances out (most likely contributing to the damage) and did not have the proper equipment to make a safe delivery (we just had new floors installed!!). So, the “fix” the employees suggested was for us to keep the damaged stove and call the hotline (not open until Monday) to reschedule the refrigerator delivery, stove replacement and dishwasher installation. What?!! We paid $3,500 for absolutely nothing to be as expected? We had emptied our refrigerator with anticipation of the arrival and instead- no fridge, a dishwasher in the middle of my kitchen and a stove that I would need to use but then replace. And I would have to advocate for all of this myself—as the customer? So, I proceeded to spend 4.5 hours of my Saturday talking to multiple Best Buy customer service folks—on the phone almost constantly from 11:47 am until after 5:00 pm- explaining my story again and again, starting over each time with my name, number, e-mail and repeating every detail of what had occurred. Wasting my whole Saturday that was meant to spend with my family but instead getting absolutely nowhere with at least 8 people. Current status- still no refrigerator, damaged stove (new one supposedly coming in 8 days) and a damaged dishwasher that my husband installed himself (since my installation date was rescheduled for November 11th!!) After literally not one thing going as planned, and not one appliance arriving in the condition it should, there was no acceptable solution that was ever attempted. Instead- time and money was heavily wasted. I have never endured such poor service, delivery or quality. I have also never felt so compelled to write reviews, post on social media and let everyone that I know how terrible my experience was.
