    NO RESOLUTION TO MY INSTALL ISSUE

    I've had the absolute worst customer service experience in my life dealing with my recent appliance purchase from Best Buy!! I purchased an LG dishwasher that was delivered on 10/05/20. When the item arrived, the installers charged me an additional $175 to put in a new cutoff valve as they said the one for my old dishwasher would not fit. Mind you, the installation of the new hose and cutoff valve took less than 10 minutes. Following the installation, I noticed that the dishwasher was not fully completing the cycles, leaving the dishes with soap residue; and not draining the water in the bottom of the tub. I was then forced to call LG to make a repair/troubleshooting warranty claim appointment as I missed the Best Buy return window. When LG came out, they determined that the dishwasher had been improperly installed and that I needed to have Best Buy send a contractor back out to fix the installation. I have now called Best Buy Customer Service at least 6 times with NO RESOLUTION to this issue. I was informed that unfortunately there is no repair appointment availability at this time and that the matter needed to be escalated to see when an installer could be dispatched. In the meantime, I'm stuck with a dishwasher that does not work properly.... I have escalated the issue to a Manager within the call center (Evana) who advised me on Saturday, December 5th that I would receive a call from her either Sunday December 6th, or Tuesday, December 8th; however, I never received a call. All in all, this experience has been extremely exhausting and inconveniencing, and I seriously doubt I will ever purchase an appliance (or any other electronic) from Best Buy again.
