    Best Buy has horrible customer service

    I would give Best Buy a negative rating, however it does not allow it. I purchased a 75 inch Sony Bravia TV 3 1/2 years ago. The TV now has a black screen. It appears it is a defect of the Android TV's that Sony built. I spent almost 2 hours today on the phone with Best Buy customer service attempting to get a Geek Squad technician to my house to give me an estimate on the cost of repair. After getting transfer from Asia to India to South Carolina, back to India and then somewhere else, I was told it would cost $99 to have the technician come to the house and then give me a range. They were going to schedule the appointment when the call was disconnected. I did not get a return phone call. I called back later in the day and got someone in Central America. I explained that I did not have a service agreement on a TV over 42 inches and I needed to schedule a service appointment for someone to come out. The person had to ask all of the same questions all over again without listening to anything I said. She then said I had to enter into a contract for $199 before anyone would come out.
