    Horrible Customer Service

    Horrible customer service. I ordered a Samsung TV with delivery and set up for an elderly family member who had her Insignia TV go out after a couple of years. This relative lives in another state, so I had to ask someone to be with her when the TV was delivered. First, I had a delivery date for Saturday afternoon. BestBuy changed it to Wednesday afternoon and informed me by email. I made arrangements to have someone with her during the time frame of the scheduled appointment. Then I got an email the next day saying the delivery delivery time was changed to Wednesday morning. Since my friend was not available at that time, I had to cancel the order. Over the last four days, I have spent multiple of hours trying to get some help from BestBuy customer service reps. I never received a promised call back from a supervisor. One of the reps suggested that I contact the store directly, but when I called it was answered by a national call center that told me that the store (North Canton, Ohio) was not accepting phone calls.

    Long wait for repairs

    Geek squad Agents took over a month to replace a part(one connect) on my q7. When scheduling the first appointment was i was very descriptive on the issue. After 3weeks got a tech who didn’t even know why he was there. They did finally get the part and installed it 5 weeks+ after the first call . I was disappointed in the lack information the 1 agent sent out had and the lack of communication when leaving messages with all involved. In the end the repair was accomplished by a knowledgeable tech. Both techs were friendly and professional. The lacking in professionalism fell in the scheduling and upper management. Hopefully this was a fluke as i have multiple devices with this company.

    A Real Shortage of Customer Service

    There are world-wide shortages which I completely understand. However, that shortage does NOT excuse the abysmal customer service I have received from Best Buy. I was told only ONE HOUR before my scheduled delivery that the product was not available. I had moved furniture out of the way, cleaned out under my sink, and cancelled a dentist appointment to prepare for my dishwasher delivery/installation. There is no excuse for the company's not knowing my product was not available further ahead than one hour. I cancelled my order and went to Lowe's to purchase my dishwasher. I will not do business with this company again.

    I recently bought a modem at best buy after a long time. The rep told me all the good things about the modem and it will work fine with Comcast service. I took his word and purchased it thinking it will handle the 1 Gig speed that Comcast is providing me. Welcome to Best Buy #559 11450 PINES BLVD PEMBROKE PINES, FL 33026 Val:100000-700401-611187-753669-230206-64553 0559 003 1885 05/26/21 15:00 6451964 MB8611-10 149.99 DOCSIS 3.1 CABLE MODEM 2.5 GB 169.99 Was Price 20.00- Sale Discount Sales Tax 10.50 ---------- Subtotal 149.99 Sales Tax 10.50 ========== Total 160.49 Connected the modem and got the service working with Comcast, but I was not getting the speed that I wanted, worked with Comcast for weeks with speed tests, rebooting, and also their IT manager visiting my home to troubleshoot this issue. I was surprised too but I will take it. After almost a month and a half, I decided to replace the modem with Comcast modem and the speeds in the house were different therefor the modem was the issue. After spending 160 dollars on the modem from best buy and I wanted to return the modem, the customer service person was no refund because it has passed the 14 days policy. It took a month and a half to figure out the issue with Comcast and their service. How can 14 days determine the issue and their rep was the one who mentioned it would work fine? I think best buy is a rip-off and I will never buy there again. It is better to buy from amazon. I would like the CEO of best buy to let me know what she thinks about this issue. Thanks

    There is a serious lack of communication between the Geek squad and sales people...I purchased two ring outdoor wired cameras and was told they would be installed by geek squad..After waiting a month for the appointment they tell me upon arrival that they don't do anything electrical and I would need to purchase the wireless cameras to have them installed..The next time it was a TV I purchased at the same time I bought the cameras and once again salesperson told me it could be mounted above my brick fireplace when they arrive they tell me they can't do it with the swivel mount I had bought..So now the TV is mounted to the wall across from my fireplace..lol Get it together Best Buy!

    Unbelievably Disappointing and Unreliable

    I was on the phone with someone from geek squad about my PS4 not taking a disc into the system. I asked the person if it was possible to repair it or at least have it looked at to see what the problem is and they told me that they would be able to see what’s wrong with it and told me to make an appointment. Well I made an appointment, drove all the way down there and then when I got to the front counter they told me that they couldn’t help me with my system because it has to do with my hardware and they wouldn’t even look at it or tell me what the problem might be. So I’m told on the phone that they can help me but when I get down there I’m told they can’t do anything about it? Really? They did nothing but waste my time and now I still have a non working ps4 system in my possession that apparently nobody can fix or even tell me what the problem is. Don’t waste your time with geek squad because they clearly have absolutely no clue what they are doing and have the most unqualified people taking phone calls from customers. Extremely disappointing and I’m incredibly unsatisfied with this! If you don’t fix problems like that then don’t tell me over the phone that you can help me. It’s fine. If nobody can help me then I’ll just help myself
