    You guys are absolutely ridiculous, coming from a fellow retail worker. When I transferred my order from one store to another for pickup, you charged me a second time for the item I’d already paid for (Oculus Quest 128 GB). When you tried to charge me again, it declined my card, at which point you said my order could not be processed, and so I won’t be getting my item. Even though you’ve already charged me $350. When I called the store to try and sort it out, you proceeded to put me on hold for 30 minutes, and then just end the call. It’s absolutely unbelievable. I will never be coming to you for anything again, and based on the other reviews, nor will at least a quarter of the people you deal with. That’s pretty pathetic.

    Dishwasher install

    We ordered a dishwasher with installation. Two weeks after order, night before delivery and install we are told it'll be another two weeks. Wait again, then night before told it will be another two weeks. Asked that we just keep waiting and waiting with no end in sight. Finally just cancelled the order. We are told our store doesn't have the dishwasher to install. Why they keep telling me they will and then last minute saying they don't is terrible customer service. Having no dishwasher is a huge inconvenience, and if you don't have one, don't take our money and pretend over and over that you do and will. Terrible experience, very poor customer support, and no reasonable solution offered. At one point they said we could get a $100 gift card for our troubles, but only if we don't cancel our order and keep waiting in perpetuity for the dishwasher to magically appear in their store. A gift card doesn't make up for the fact that months will have to go by without a dishwasher, we can't believe this is their business practice. Never again BestBuy.

    Buying is not the problem Great selection and knowledgeable sales staff. First, you cannot call the store! Zero for that! Calling for help…laughable. They must all work from home and pickup the phone during commercials. Geek squad sent a computer person out for something that should have been setup on delivery. Then had the nerve to schedule me out another 2 weeks after waiting 4 weeks. I visited the store to try and get some consideration and get moved up on the schedule —- answer NO!!!!!! General manager must not care about satisfaction … they don’t care that you spent a fortune there…..Fields Ertel in Ohio. Then I try and purchase online with some certificates I “earned” and the Best Buy credit card and the sale did not go through. I tried to update the address on the card through the link they sent but it would not let me. So I went to the bestbuy sight and did it. Well it still was putting my purchase on hold. So I cancelled it with the intent of repurchasing. Only thing the certificates did not repost. So now I am 90 minutes into waiting between online chat and telephone to get them restored. Customer service sucks!!!!!!

    I got an Amazon FireTV from best buy and eventually realized that it is not supporting HBO. Was showing unavailable in appstore. I called the customer support and they transferred my call to five different departments before finally telling me that I need to contact Geek Squad. So I called the squad and they said 7 minutes waiting time for someone to pick up my call; after 40 minutes I was still on hold. So I disconnected as I had some other appointments. I went to the store and the geek squad people told me I need to book an appointment through the customer service and pay for it although it is still within the free return period. I headed to the customer care section to have more details on it. The customer care executive had real difficulty to understand this simple problem and asked the same question 3 times at least. Finally they said I need to pay $75 no matter what. I tried to make them believe that it is really a simple problem and shouldn't take more than 5 minutes to solve for them on phone provided they pick up. But they didn't understand. I was super annoyed and left without scheduling my appointment. Next day I called Amazon Customer Care and they solved it within 5 minutes. Best Buy +Geek Squad people should learn something from Amazon customer care.

    I will never purchase another appliance from Best Buy again! I bought a dishwasher online and scheduled delivery at time of purchase. The delivery day was 2 weeks away. A day before delivery, I received a notification that I had 3 separate deliveries scheduled, w/ the install scheduled before the delivery. I called SERVERAL times to get this corrected. The agents always had limited capabilities but reassured me I would receive delivery the following Thursday. That Wednesday, I received a text for delivery confirmation. Took off work on Thursday for the delivery and received a text at 4pm to reschedule my delivery. WHAT?! Best Buy, you are UNRELIABLE!!! So I called again and was told the earliest they could deliver was over two weeks from now. UNACCEPTABLE. Then the agent said I would be compensated for all of the hassle AFTER delivery. You must think I'm crazy to schedule ANOTHER delivery and wait to only have it cancelled again. I cancelled the order and will order w/ a diff store

    My latest experience with Best Buy has solidified the fact that they don't care about customer service or about individual experience. Due to glitch in their system they kept canceling my installation appointment 4 times in a roll. That resulted in many hours on chat/phone to reschedule, multiple days taken off from work to accommodate their availability and at the end the installer showing up at the wrong address despite the fact I spent 45 minutes on chat a week before that to correct it. After showing up at the wrong address 2 hours after the time frame provided for my appointment, the installer canceled my appointment once again. Customer service had me on hold for 90 minutes to speak to a supervisor who couldn't offer anything other than rescheduling the appointment for another 10 days in the future. I will never, ever buy as much as a $1 item from Best Buy. They do not care about customer service.

    this has been a disappointment from the beginning. Two of your independent advisors provided poor, and over-the-top suggestions for a receiver/amplifier. your tech (josh) corrected this; so that part OK but delayed install. you have unnecessary and unhelpful limits on the specific work your geeks can/cannot do; which caused further delays. Hookups not done correctly, causing issues with TV reception and loss of sound in many situations; so yet another geek to fix all of that. It seems he did it correctly (third visit), but could not assist in moving the TV stand and related 12 feet across the room to another connection; saying he was not allowed by BB to do so. I also found out that you no longer allow the store managers to schedule the geeks. this is ridiculous. I ended up standing in your Sarasota store with the geek manager standing next to me talking to one of your remote folks in Asia to re-schedule on of the visits. I was able to schedule, but the geek showed up with the wrong instructions; probably because your remote person dis not understand my request. This has already cost you all margins on our purchases, and a humiliating experience to your store geek manager who can no longer be trusted to manage his own crew. Centralizing these functions and off-shoring it ti Asia is idiotic and will cost you dearly over time. So, after more than 90 days of failures, i finished up the job myself. Why would i ow renew my membership?

    Inefficiency of Warranties

    I bought a Samsung washer/dryer through Best Buy 3 years ago. I also bought their 5 year warranty. After just 3 years my washer went out & I contacted their Geek Squad to schedule repair. They in turn dispatched A&E to do the repair work. It took 2 weeks to get A&E to even come look at it with an 8 hour window on a work day. Day number one of me missing a whole day of work. The repair person ordered the parts & scheduled for 2 weeks out to come & repair with another 8 hour window on a work. Day number 2 of work missed for me. Then the parts didn’t arrive in time & when trying to reschedule a repair day, they told me there was no one in my area to come repair & they couldn’t get me rescheduled. In frustration I called Geek Squad again & they rescheduled me for 2 weeks out with another 8 hour window. Day number three of missing work for me. Big picture here, I had to make many many phone calls, miss three days of work, and have spent how many dollars & trips to the laundry for a month and 1/2 for a warranty I paid good money. The Geek Squad needs to be responsible for finding reputable repair companies. This process has been a nightmare & extremely inefficient.
