Poor communication
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Called and asked Best Buy if they serviced tv’s. They said yes and went through a very long process to set up appointment and my son stayed home from work that day. When they arrived for the appointment they stated they weren’t there to fix a tv but they only do installation. Called again and spoke with 2 people going through the details again. Again very long phone conversation and both people spoke with took our number in case of disconnection. After being on hold a very long time we were disconnected and no one ever called back. My husband went to Best Buy and asked them if they fix tv’s. They only fix TV’s if you buy it there. Why that wasn’t communicated the first time we called, I’m not sure but was disappointed in the whole process.

Awful company

I purchased an e gift card through this awful company and their third party company and not only did they take the money out of my account for "authorization purposes" but they then sent me an email saying they couldnt process my payment yet they took the money from our account. We then called their customer support in which they transferred us to multiple departments, about ten different departments, none of which knew what they were doing or talking about. Only to be told that the funds would be placed back into my account pending my banks authorization. We were wanting to buy an i pad for our kid with that today and now we arent going to be able to thanks to good old best buy and their third party cash star. Stay away from this establishment. They do not know how to treat their customers and they are borderline theives.

Dryer Greek Squad protection is waste of money
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Dryer Greek Squad protection is waste of money if things really go wrong .. i bought a LG dryer form them and after 3 repair they said it need to be replaced and i will end up buying a new one from them ,.. this time a Samsung.. i ended up paying for the warranty again .. as it is required for the new product... even though i has more than a year left on the warranty. Now my Samsung Dryer is not working ( 2nd time ) .. no heat.. it been a month they still not fixed the 3rd party they use is saying part is not available.. no body as Best Buy Customer care helping .. they hung up on me at least 3 time. They said I had to wait for 30 day for then to take any action .. I have been also told that it will be replaced.. this mean again pay for the warranty .. i will end up paying more in warranty than the Dryer it seem.. very bad policy and customer service .. i am kind of stuck with you guys and the biggest problem is not one is even trying to help even compensate for the trouble.. ideally i should be compensated for the this 1 month of drying cleaning cost and also no have to pay for the warranty if I have to again get a new dryer.

Last time I purchase anything from best buy

After making the purchase, I was able to pickup at least two of the items, while the third item was being delivered to the store the next week. After charging my account for the entire amount, best buy emails me the following week (the day I am supposed to pickup my last item) saying my payment could not be processed. Apparently, best buy places a "soft hold" on your purchase until the order is fulfilled. If it is not fully fulfilled within 5-6 business days, the money basically comes back. However, the problem I have is, I was charged $400 twice. I had to call my bank to reverse the charge and stop it. I called best buy, and the only thing I got was, "Call your bank to reauthorize for your purchase for pickup today," and, "This is our process." This is a very distasteful, repugnant way of doing business. This will be my last purchase from best buy.

A month, five hours and hold, and no installation

Right before my scheduled delivery, i got a notice that delivery was cancelled and another email about "the changes i made to my order" switching from delivery to pick up. I never made this change. I rescheduled delivery. Best Buy never reached up, but doubting the issue was resolved, i called myself. They told me yes, i was scheduled for installation, but i'd have to drive an hour to pick up the microwave myself in advance. Having time constraints, i took time off work and picked it up myself. The installers came and could not complete the installation because "i had custom cabinets". I do not have custom cabinets, and the new microwave is virtually identical to the the existing microwave in terms of dimensions. I write this as i'm coming up on 90 minutes on hold trying to get a refund. I have spent a month, over five hours total on the phone, and still don't have a microwave installed. Wish i would have spent the $10 more to have the same microwave delivered and installed without any of these issues by Lowe's or Home Depot! I will never spend another dime at Best Buy. I can't believe how poor the customer service has been, and how impossible it is to speak with a human!

I"m DONE with BEST BUY

During covid, it was literally impossible to use the benefits of total tech yet still charged for it and can't get a refund or even credit. Unbelievably frustrating. I have spent tens of thousands at BB over the years....NEVER AGAIN. I"m done.

Bad Customer Service

We purchased a Samsung 4 door refrigerator that stared working poor shortly after purchase and 2 months later stoped making ice and the freezer stopped. Then the entire refrigerator quite, 7 months later and multiple service visits from Best Buy and their contractor Sears it still did not work. We decided to purchase another refrigerator from a different store. I called and asked if they ( best buy ) would remove the unit, we just wanted it out and they would not do it. We had to pay to have it removed. We WERE Loyal good customers of Bestbuy

Wrost Customer Service EVER!!!

After making a mistake sending the wrong gas line connector, I have to make four phone calls to customer service and wait between 10 to 25 min, then speak with an associate for more the 50 min, who has no idea what I was requesting. It has been a nightmare, a bureaucratic process just to have them send the correct connector for my dryer and have it installed. Finally, it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to speak with a supervisor. Tons of things to improve as customer service.

charge for software update

However, was totally shocked when I was handed a bill for $135 for a software update on equipment only 3mos old. We were sold the protection plan under the pretense that anything we needed for 2yrs would be covered. Was never told that this didn't include software updates sent automatically to our tv/soundbar. Very unhappy that after spending the amount on high end equipment that this was not covered, especially when the sales rep said ANYTHING we need would be covered for 2yrs.

Disappointed

The microwave was picked up by a third party installer and never called or installed. Yet received e-mails and phone calls from Best Buy on date and times for install. After several attempts to contact someone at Best Buy a new delivery date was set up. Again the installation never happened. And again E-mails confirming time and date. But this time the third party installer was rude and told us we’re we could go pick one up 5 miles away not his problem it wasn’t loaded on the truck. After driving to Apple Valley’s Best Buy to cancel the purchase and confront a manager who was very understanding but could not reassure us this would not happen again. We canceled sad. why would a company e-mail and leave phone confirmation set dates and times with customers? With installers whom they don’t know or can not contact we were told. Not knowing if the item is even on the truck? People change their work schedules to set these dates. Very unprofessionally handled

Never shopping at the Aiea Store ever again.

He gave me attitude on the phone and was ignoring me when fixing my washer. Being rude even though I tipped him and gave him drinks the first time around. How is it my fault that the washer had water leaking underneath? Plus the Aiea manager is obnoxious and Cyrus is a rude employee. Never shopping here again. I don't understand how any one can be treated this way! What a crappy experience.

Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased a product from the Simsbury store a few days ago.I noticed today that the item was now on sale.I thought that this would be a quick fix.I called the store to get the sale price and no one answered,so the phone rolled over to corp.After answering a bunch of questions,I was placed on hold for a manager's approval.After 25 minutes another rep answered and again I answered all of the same questions and was placed on hold again for a manager's approval.After waiting forever I finally got my $12.00 credit.This should NOT have taken 45 minutes,or needed a manager's approval for a $12.00 credit. P.S. also noticed that the Simsbury store seemed understaffed.
